Tomato and Herb Bruschetta Recipe
INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2lbsplum tomatoes, halved,seeded and chopped
- 1/3cupfresh basil leaves
- 1tablespoon choppedgarlic
- 1 1/2teaspoonsdried oregano
- 1tablespoonbalsamic vinegar
- 1tablespoonolive oil
- 1teaspoonfresh lemon juice
- 6slicescrusty bread, toasted,1/2 to 3/4 inch thick
DIRECTIONS
- Mix first 7 ingredients in bowl.
- Season to taste.
- Cut toasted bread in half.
- Spoon tomato mixture on top of bread and serve.
