Teriyaki Chicken Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 3/4cupsoy sauce(I didn’t use quite this much soy sauce)
  2. 1/4cupvegetable oil
  3. 3tablespoonsbrown sugar
  4. 2tablespoonscooking sherry (optional)
  5. 1/2teaspoonground ginger
  6. 1/2teaspoongarlic powder
  7. 1 1/2lbschicken drumsticks(i used big chicken breasts)

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a large glass dish, combine soy sauce, oil, brown sugar, cooking sherry, ginger and garlic powder.
  2. mix well.
  3. add drumsticks or chicken breasts.
  4. turn to coat.
  5. cover and refrigerate for 1 hour or overnight, turning occasionally.
  6. drain and discard marinade.
  7. place chicken in a single layer on a foil lined baking sheet.
  8. bake at 375 degrees, for 35-45 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink.
