Baked Hot Dogs Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 8hot dogs
  2. 1/2cupketchup
  3. 1/2cupcornflake crumbs

DIRECTIONS

  1. cut slits on the hot dogs about 1/2 inch apart. Roll the hot dog in the ketchup and then in the corn flake crumbs. Place on a cookie sheet and Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
  2. Note: may need more or less of the ketchup and corn flake crumbs. I never measure it and I made a guess on the amount.

Mad Dog’s Rib Rub Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1/4cuppaprika
  2. 1/4cupred peppers
  3. 1/4cupblack pepper
  4. 1/4cupwhite sugar
  5. 1/4cupbrown sugar
  6. 1tablespoongarlic powder
  7. 1tablespoonwhite pepper
  8. 1tablespooncayenne pepper

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine all ingredients in a covered bowl and mix well.
  2. After gererously rubbing each slab of ribs with white vinegar, use 2 tablespoons of the rub for each side of the slab.
  3. Grill meat until done.

Corn Dogs Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1/2cupyellow cornmeal
  2. 1cupall-purpose flour
  3. 1tablespoonbaking powder
  4. 3/4teaspoonsalt
  5. 1tablespoonsugar
  6. 1cupevaporated milk
  7. 1largeegg, beaten
  8. 1/4teaspoonpaprika
  9. 1/2teaspoonmustard powder
  10. 1pinchwhite pepper
  11. 10largehot dogs
  12. wooden skewers
  13. oil(for frying, not olive oil)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix the first 10 ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Transfer the mixture to a shallow dish.
  3. Push the wooden skewers into the hot dogs.
  4. Roll/coat the hot dogs well with the cornmeal mixture.
  5. Heat oil to 375 degrees.
  6. Deep-fry the corn dogs for about 2 minutes until golden brown (do not over deep fry, as the corn dogs will have a burnt taste).
  7. Drain on paper towels.

Chili Sauce for Hot Dogs and Burgers Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 2lbslean ground beef
  2. 2tablespoonspaprika
  3. 2largeonions, coarsley chopped
  4. black pepper
  5. 1tablespoon fresh mincedgarlic
  6. 1/2teaspooncayenne pepper(or to taste)
  7. 1 (5 ounce)cantomato paste
  8. 2cupshot water
  9. 1 1/2cupschili sauce
  10. 1/2cupunseasoned breadcrumbs
  11. 1 1/2tablespoonschili powder(or to taste, increase amount for a more spicy tatse)
  12. 2tablespoonsvinegar
  13. salt
  14. 4dropsTabasco sauce(or to taste)

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a saucepan, saute the onions and garlic until soft.
  2. Add in ground beef, and saute until browned.
  3. Add in all remaining ingredients (except bread crumbs) and vineger.
  4. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally, boil for 5 minutes.
  5. Add in bread crumbs and vinegar; mix to combine.
  6. Simmer for about 2 hours, stirring occasionally.

Ham and Cheese Dogs Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 8slicescooked ham(thin slices)
  2. 4tablespoonsCheese Whiz
  3. 4mozzarella string cheese(string cheese)
  4. 4hotdog buns, split

DIRECTIONS

  1. Spread each ham slice with 1 table spoon of cheese whiz.
  2. Place 1 cheese stick on one side of each ham slice; roll in buns.
  3. Wrap each in microwave-safe waxed paper.
  4. Microwave each sandwhich on high for 20 to 30 seconds or until thoroughly heated, or serve sandwhiches cold.(prefer mine warm.).
