Ham and Cheese Dogs Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 8slicescooked ham(thin slices)
  2. 4tablespoonsCheese Whiz
  3. 4mozzarella string cheese(string cheese)
  4. 4hotdog buns, split

DIRECTIONS

  1. Spread each ham slice with 1 table spoon of cheese whiz.
  2. Place 1 cheese stick on one side of each ham slice; roll in buns.
  3. Wrap each in microwave-safe waxed paper.
  4. Microwave each sandwhich on high for 20 to 30 seconds or until thoroughly heated, or serve sandwhiches cold.(prefer mine warm.).

Championship Hot Dogs Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 8slicesbacon
  2. 12ouncesbeer
  3. 8hot dogs
  4. 8hotdog buns, split
  5. 1/2cupspicy brown mustard
  6. 1/2cup dicedsweet onions
  7. 1/2cup slicedbell peppers, diced or sweet peppers, strips diced

DIRECTIONS

  1. Cook bacon over medium-low heat until crispy. Drain on clean paper towels. Crumble cooked bacon.
  2. Bring beer to a boil in an 8- to 10-inch skillet (large enough to hold hot dogs in a single layer). Add hot dogs to boiling beer. Immediately reduce heat and simmer hot dogs for about 4 to 5 minutes or until an internal temperature of 160 degrees F is reached.
  3. Place hot dogs in buns and top with 1 tablespoon each of mustard, onions, peppers and bacon.

Chorizo Sausage Chihuahua Dogs Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1lb johnsonvillechorizo sausages
  2. 5hotdog buns
  3. 1/2lb shreddedMexican blend cheese
  4. 10tablespoonssalsa
  5. 1 slicedonion

DIRECTIONS

  1. Prepare your Sausages grilled, baked, broiled, on your outdoor grill, or pan-fried. A 1 lb package will contain 5 sausages. I cooked mine with the onion slices on my George Foreman Indoor Grill.
  2. Warm up the grill for 5 minutes with the onions inside. Always spray your indoor grill with Pam prior to the warm-up period.
  3. Line the sausages up across the grates so you get grill marks on them. Close the grill and set your timer for 5 minutes.
  4. While the Sausages are cooking, spread your hot dogs bun, sprinkle a layer of shredded cheese inside, then insert them in your toaster oven until the cheese is slightly melted.
  5. Insert your cooked Chorizo Chihuahua Dogs into each bun on top of the bed of melted cheese. Top with your sliced onions and 2 tablespoons or more of your favorite salsa. You can also top with chili or other toppings of your own choosing.

Rachael Ray’s Devilish Chili Dogs Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1tablespoonolive oil
  2. 1lbground sirloin
  3. salt and pepper
  4. 1teaspoonworcestershire sauce
  5. 1smallonion, chopped
  6. 2garlic cloves, chopped
  7. 1tablespoonchili powder
  8. 1 (8 ounce)cantomato sauce
  9. 8beef hot dogs
  10. 1tablespoonbutter
  11. 1tablespoonhot sauce
  12. 8hotdog buns, toasted
  13. 2cupscheddar cheese, shredded

DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat skillet over medium high heat.
  2. Add olive oil and meat and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Brown and crumble beef.
  4. Add Worcestershire, onion, garlic, chili powder, and cook together 5 minute Add tomato sauce and reduce heat to low.
  5. Meanwhile boil franks in shallow pan to warm through, 5 minute
  6. Drain water and return pan to medium heat.
  7. Score casings on dogs.
  8. Melt butter in skillet and add hot sauce.
  9. Add dogs to pan, browning and crisping the casings in hot sauce and butter.
  10. Heat broiler.
  11. Place dogs in buns and top with chili and cheese.
  12. Place dogs under broiler and melt cheese.
  13. Serve immediately.

Roy Clark’s Hot Diggity Dogs Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1 (12 ounce)packagehot dogs
  2. 2teaspoonsworcestershire sauce
  3. 1cupketchup
  4. 1cuponions, cut up
  5. 1/2cupmustard
  6. 3/4cupbell peppers, cut up
  7. 1/2cuphoney
  8. oil
  9. 3cupsbaked beans
  10. 2cupssauerkraut
  11. 1/4cuphorseradish
  12. 3/4cupcheese, grated
  13. bellpepper rings

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix ketchup, mustard,honey, horseradish and worcestershire sauce together.
  2. Saute onions and peppers.
  3. Place baked beans in baking dish.
  4. Pour 1 cup of mixture evenly over beans.
  5. Spread vegetables over beans.
  6. Place wieners over beans.
  7. Pour sauerkraut over wieners.
  8. Put remaining sauce over wieners.
  9. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
  10. Add cheese and pepper rings.
  11. Bake 5 minutes longer.
