Banana Loaf Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 2bananas
  2. 1/2cupmargarine
  3. 1egg
  4. 3/4cupwhite sugar
  5. 2cupsflour
  6. 1teaspoonbaking powder
  7. 1teaspoonvanilla
  8. 1cupchocolate chips

DIRECTIONS

  1. mash 2 ripe banas, set aside.
  2. beat 1/2 cup margarine.
  3. add 1 egg.
  4. add 3/4 cup white sugar.
  5. add the 2 bananas.
  6. mix well.
  7. add 2 cups flour.
  8. add 1 tsp baking powder.
  9. add 1 tsp vanilla.
  10. mix all and put in loaf pan(greased).
  11. bake 1 hour @ 350.
  12. remove and cool.

Frozen Banana Popsicles Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 5bananas, just ripe
  2. 10wooden popsicle sticks
  3. 1cuppeanuts, finely chopped
  4. 3cupschocolate syrup, dark hard shell

DIRECTIONS

  1. Peel bananas, cut in half and insert popsicle sticks into each half.
  2. Cover each banana in hard chocolate sauce.
  3. Roll each banana in chopped peanuts and freeze for 3 hours.

Banana Nut Bread Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 2cupsflour
  2. 1cupsugar
  3. 1 teabaking soda
  4. 1 teasalt
  5. 2 mashedbananas
  6. 1/2cupoil
  7. 2eggs
  8. 1/2cup choppednuts

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix together flour, sugar, baking soda and salt.
  2. Add 2 mashed bananas, oil, eggs, walnuts; mix well.
  3. Stir untell blinded. Pour into greased and flour loaf pan.
  4. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.

Banana Bourbon French Toast Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. SAUCE

  2. 4bananas, sliced
  3. 1cupbrown sugar
  4. 1/2cupbourbon
  5. 2tablespoonsbutter
  6. BATTER

  7. 6eggs
  8. 1/4teaspoonsalt
  9. 2tablespoonsvanilla
  10. 1/2cupcream(you may sub in half & half)
  11. 8slices thickwhite bread(I use Texas Toast)

DIRECTIONS

  1. To make sauce: In a small pan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat; carefully add bananas and simmer for 2 minutes. Remove from stove and add bourbon; return to flame and continue simmering an additional 2 minutes. Cover and keep warm until ready to use.
  2. To make batter: In a large bowl, whisk eggs and salt. Add vanilla. Pour in cream, continuing to whisk until well blended.
  3. Melt 1 to 2 tablespoons butter in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Dip each bread slice in batter and cook each side until golden brown. Repeat with remaining bread slices.
  4. Transfer 2 bread slices to individual plates and top with banana slices and sauce.Serve with maple syrup or powdered sugar.

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1/3cupoatmeal
  2. 5tablespoonsnon-fat vanilla yogurt
  3. 1/2 frozenbanana
  4. 1/2cuporange juice
  5. ice cubes

DIRECTIONS

  1. Blend all together till desired consistancy.
