INGREDIENTS

1. 1/4cupdried onion flakes
2. 3tablespoonschili powder
3. 2tablespoonsground cumin
4. 2tablespoonssalt
5. 1tablespoon crushedhot red pepper flakes (optional)
6. 1tablespooninstant minced garlic or2 teaspoonsgarlic powder
7. 1tablespooncornstarch
8. 2teaspoonsoregano

DIRECTIONS

1. Place all ingredients in blender and blend on high till well mixed and powdered.
2. Spoon 6 even portions of mix into plastic snack bags.
3. Label, store in spice cabinet.Keeps indefinitely.(OR, measure the whole thing–I haven’t–and park it altogether in a covered jar, using 1/6 of the mixture each time you need taco spice.
