INGREDIENTS

1. 2large heirloomtomatoes
2. 4tablespoonsfresh basil
3. 1tablespoongarlic(minced)
4. 1/2teaspoonsalt
5. pepper
6. lettuce (optional)
7. crackers (optional)
8. thincheese slices (optional)

DIRECTIONS

1. Finely slice tomoatoes into thin rounds.
2. Mix the basil, garlic, salt and pepper, Spread over the tomato slices and then leave at room temperature for 1 hour for the flavours to infuse.
3. Serve on cheese slices, crackers or lettuce.
