Sesame Chicken & Penne Pasta Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1/4cupsesame seeds
  2. 1lbboneless skinless chicken breasts, cut in one inch strips
  3. 1packetlow-sodium instant chicken bouillon granules, dissolved in
  4. 1cuphot water
  5. 1/4cuplow sodium soy sauce
  6. 2teaspoonssesame oil
  7. 1/4cupdry white wine
  8. 1lbfresh mushrooms, thickly sliced
  9. 1largeonion, sliced in rings
  10. 8ouncespenne pasta, cooked according to package directions

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Spread sesame seeds in baking pan and toast in oven 5-10 minutes, or until lightly browned.
  3. Roll chicken strips in toasted seeds and place in single layer in baking pan.
  4. Combine chicken stock, soy sauce, sesame oil and wine.
  5. Pour over chicken.
  6. Let stand 30 minutes at room temperature.
  7. Top with sliced mushrooms and onion rings.
  8. Bake 45 minutes.
  9. Toss with pasta.
