Sausage Rigatoni With Double Tomato Sauce Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 8ounces uncookedrigatoni pasta or pasta, of your choice
  2. 1lbItalian sausages
  3. 1 (28 ounce)cancrushed tomatoes, undrained
  4. 1/2cupsun-dried tomatoes, sliced(drain if oil-packed)
  5. 3/4cupwater
  6. 2teaspoonsdried basil
  7. 1/2teaspoondried thyme
  8. 2clovesgarlic, minced

DIRECTIONS

  1. Cook rigatoni in boiling water to desired doneness, drain.
  2. Meanwhile, in large saucepan, brown sausages over mediun high heat.
  3. Remove sausage from pan and cut into 1/4 inch slices.
  4. Return sliced sausage to saucepan and add remaining ingredients.
  5. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
  6. Serve sausage mixture over hot rigatoni.
