Rum Custard Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 3eggs, beaten lightly
  2. 3tablespoonssugar
  3. 1 1/2cupsmilk
  4. 1tablespoonrum
  5. 1/4teaspoonsalt
  6. gratednutmeg, to sprinkle on top

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine everything except nutmeg.
  2. Pour into 4 individual custard cups.
  3. Top with a sprinkle of nutmeg.
  4. Set in a pan with 1 inch of water.
  5. Bake at 325F for 30 minutes until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
  6. Do not over bake.
  7. Serve warm or cold with little crispy cookies.
