Rogene’s Chocolate Dipped Coconut Macaroons Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 2 2/3cupsflaked coconut, firmly packed
  2. 2/3cupsugar
  3. 1/4cupflour
  4. 4egg whites, unbeaten
  5. 1cupalmonds, sliced
  6. 1teaspoonvanilla
  7. 1teaspoonalmond extract
  8. 8ouncessemisweet chocolate

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Combine all ingredients except chocolate.
  2. Form balls and place 2″ apart on lightly greased cookie sheets.
  3. Bake 20-25 minutes. Remove and place on waxed paper to cool.
  4. Melt chocolate in heavy pan. Dip edge of cookies in chocolate - it will set when cooled.
