Roasted Serrano Salsa Recipe
INGREDIENTS
- 6serrano chilies
- 1lbtomatoes, finely diced
- 2tablespoonsred onions, minced
- 1/4cuporange juice
- 2tablespoonsyellow bell peppers, diced
- 2tablespoonscilantro, diced
- 1tablespoonrice vinegar
- 1/2teaspoonsalt
- 1/2teaspoonsugar
DIRECTIONS
- In a cast iron skillet over medium high heat cook the seranos until blackened.
- Remove half of the blackened skin and discard.
- Chop the chilies.
- Combine the chopped chilies with the remaining ingredients.
- Let stand 1 hour.
- Cover and refrigerate.
