Rigatoni Sauce Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 3(28-37 1/3 ounce)canstomato soup
  2. 2lbsground beef
  3. 1lbground beef(OPTIONAL)
  4. 1lbItalian sausage(OPTIONAL)
  5. 1 (12 ounce)package slicedpepperoni
  6. 1 (6 ounce)cantomato paste
  7. 4-6stalkscelery, diced
  8. 1largeonion, diced
  9. 1 (16 ounce)packagerigatoni pasta
  10. TOPPINGS

  11. parmesan cheese

DIRECTIONS

  1. brown meat (including pepperoni) in large skillet.
  2. add celery and onion, cover and cook over low heat, stirring often until onions are semi soft.
  3. Drain off fat.
  4. in a large pot, combine all ingredients except the noodles.
  5. cook over low heat, stirring often to avoid burning for about 2 hours.
  6. if too thick, small amounts of water may be added.
  7. Cook noodles according to package directions.
  8. Serve sauce over rigatoni noodles.
  9. good with garlic bread or garlic toast and parmesan cheese.
  10. canned or fresh mushrooms may be added if desired.
