- 3-3 1/2lbs bonelessbeef roast(rump, chuck or round)
- 1envelopeonion soup mix
- 2 1/4cupswater
- In a 6 quart pot, brown roast over medium-high heat.
- add onion soup mix mixed with water.
- bring to a boil.
- reduce the heat to low and simmer covered turning roast occasionally 2 1/2 hours or until tender.
