Mexican Chicken Wings With Jalapeno Cilantro Dip Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 2 1/2lbschicken wings(12 wings)
  2. 1/3cupflour
  3. 1/3cupcornmeal
  4. 1tablespooncumin
  5. 1 1/2teaspoonssalt
  6. 1 1/2teaspoonspepper
  7. 3/4teaspooncayenne pepper
  8. 2 1/2cupssour cream
  9. 3cupscilantro, loosely packed
  10. 6green onions, cut into 3 inch pieces
  11. 4jalapeno peppers, seeded
  12. 3teaspoonssalt

DIRECTIONS

  1. Cut chicken wings into three sections; discard wing tip section.
  2. In large resealable bag, combine the flour, cornmeal, cumin,1 1/2 t salt, pepper and cayenne. Add the chicken wings, a few at a time, and shake to coat.
  3. Transfer to a greased 13×9 baking dish. Bake, uncovered, at 375° for 50-55 minutes or until juices run clear and coating is set, turning once.
  4. Meanwhile, in a blender or food processor, combine the sour cream, cilantro, green onions, jalapeno peppers and 3 t salt; cover and process until blended. Refrigerate until serving. Serve with wings.
