Meatballs in Garlic, Tomato and Mint Sauce Recipe
INGREDIENTS

For the meatballs
- 350gmincemeat
- 1onion, chopped
- 1/2teaspoongarlic, minced
- 1/2sprig choppedparsley
- 1/2sprig choppedmint
- 1/2teaspoonsalt(or to taste)
- 1/2teaspoonpepper(or to taste)
- 1/2teaspoonmustard powder(or to taste)
- 2egg yolks(I use 1 full egg)
- oil, to fry

The sauce
- 1tablespoonoil
- 2tablespoonsonions
- 2tablespoons choppedgarlic
- 2teaspoons choppedcelery
- 1/2cuptomato puree
- 2tablespoonstomato ketchup
DIRECTIONS
- Mix the mince with all other ingredients for the meat balls.
- Divide into small sized balls Fry well in moderately hot oil.
- Set aside.
- For the sauce Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan.
- Add the chopped onion and the celery, tomato puree and tomato ketchup Mix well to form a smooth sauce Add the fried meat balls and toss in the sauce.
