Maddy’s Lemon Vinaigrette Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 5tablespoonsextra virgin olive oil
  2. 1mediumgarlic clove, pressed
  3. 1/2lemon
  4. 1/2teaspoonkosher saltor sea salt
  5. fineground pepper

DIRECTIONS

  1. Press garlic and add to shaker or bowl.
  2. Use a grater to finely zest half a lemon, add to shaker or bowl.
  3. Cut the lemon in half. Save the unzested half of the lemon for use in some other recipe.Using your hand (not a juicer) squeeze the zested half of the lemon into the shaker or bowl.
  4. Add the olive oil and salt.
  5. Add pepper to taste. Just the right amount of pepper really brings out the salt.
  6. Shake it like Elvis and serve.
