- 2cupslentils, washed and drained
- 1onion, chopped
- 3carrots, sliced
- 3stalkscelery, with leaves, diced
- 2garlic cloves, mashed
- 1/4teaspoonblack pepper
- 1 (16 ounce)cantomatoes, drained and chopped
- 6frankfurters, sliced
- Combine all ingredients, except frankfurters, in crock pot.
- Mix well.
- Cover pot, turn on Low and cook for 8 hours.
- Add frankfurter slices and cook an additional hour.
