Griffin’s Famous Chocolate Fudge Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 8ouncesmarshmallow creme
  2. 1 1/2cupswhite sugar
  3. 2/3cupevaporated milk
  4. 1/4cupbutter
  5. 1/4teaspoonsalt
  6. 2cupsmilk chocolate chips
  7. 1cupsemi-sweet chocolate chips
  8. 1/2cup choppedwalnuts (optional)
  9. 1teaspoonvanilla extract

DIRECTIONS

  1. Line an 8×8 pan with foil.
  2. Over medium heat, use a large saucepan (very hot mixture rises as it boils) and combine marshmallow creme, butter, salt, sugar and evaporated milk.
  3. Bring to boil, and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Remove saucepan from heat and add chocolate chips, stirring until melted and mixture is smooth.
  5. Stir in vanilla and walnuts.
  6. Pour into pan and chill in refrigerator for 2 hours.
  7. Cut the fudge small, as it’s very rich.
  8. We get about 40 pieces.
