Fantastic Pumpkin Pie Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 2cups fresh cookedpumpkin puree
  2. 3mediumeggs
  3. 1/2cupheavy whipping cream
  4. 1/2cuplight brown sugar
  5. 1teaspoonground cinnamon
  6. 1/2teaspoonground ginger
  7. 1/8teaspoonground cloves
  8. 1/2teaspoonground nutmeg
  9. 1/2teaspoonsalt
  10. 1pie shell

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 180c/350f.
  2. Boil pumpkin until soft.
  3. In a large bowl lightly whisk the eggs.
  4. In a food processor, puree pumpkin.
  5. Add the remaining ingredients and stir to combine.
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared pie shell and place on a large baking pan to catch any spills.
  7. Bake the pie for about 45-55 minutes or until the filling is set and the crust has browned.(the center will still look wet)(A knife inserted about 1 inch from side of pan will come out almost clean.).
  8. Serve at room temp with maple whipped cream.

    Oh, I love everything pumpkin! Those recipes are delicious! I am going to add a few of those to my other pumpkin pie recipes!!! Particularly the pumpkin pie bars. Mmmm… :)

    I am an Aussie and i have never had pumpkin pie before. I tried this and i am in love with it..

    Next time i will have to make more of the filling because i just wanted to eat all the filling before it was even cooked..
    My kids loved it too. They want pumpkin pie every night now. mmm
