Chili Roasted Edamame Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 12ounces frozenedamame, shelled(green soybeans)
  2. 2teaspoonsolive oil
  3. 1/4teaspoondried basil, crushed
  4. 1/2teaspoonchili powder
  5. 1/4teaspoononion salt
  6. 1/4teaspoonground cumin
  7. 1/8teaspoonpaprika
  8. 1/8teaspoonblack pepper

DIRECTIONS

  1. Stir together the oil, basil, chili powder, onion salt, cumin, paprika and black pepper in a small bowl.
  2. Toss the beans in the spices and oil until well coated.
  3. Arrange the beans in a single layer on a cookie sheet.
  4. Roast, uncovered, at 375 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes, stirring once, until the beans begin to brown.
  5. Refrigerate any leftovers.
