Chianti Mushroom Sauce Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1largeportabella mushroom
  2. 2teaspoonsunsalted butter
  3. 1instant Oxo(Chicken stock)
  4. 1teaspoonplain flour
  5. 1cup cheapwine(plonk)or chianti wine(Whatever wine you have)
  6. 1/2cupwater
  7. salt and pepper

DIRECTIONS

  1. Remove stem and skin from Mushroom.
  2. Slice stem and slice mushroom into strips.
  3. Saute Mushroom in Butter over low heat.
  4. When soft, pour wine over mushroom stirring occasionally.
  5. Let wine evaporate to half.
  6. Mix stock and flour in 1/2 cup of water.
  7. Stir mixture into simmering mushrooms.
  8. Do not bring to boiling, instead bring to light simmer and add dash of pepper and pinch of salt.
  9. When smooth and creamy, serve over Steak, Fried potatoes, or toast.
