Cajun Buffalo Wings Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1/2cupbutter
  2. 1/4-1/2cuphot sauce
  3. 1teaspoongarlic powder
  4. 1-2teaspooncajun seasoning(Recipe 92066 or store bought)
  5. 1/2cupflour
  6. 1/4teaspoonpaprika
  7. 1/4-1teaspooncayenne pepper or hot red pepper flakes(or Powder recipe 73907)
  8. 1/4teaspoonsalt
  9. 10chicken wings, cut up two pieces from each wing with the tips discarded defrosted washed and towel dried
  10. bleu cheese salad dressing
  11. celery
  12. vegetable oil, for frying

DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat oil in a deep fryer to 375 degrees.
  2. Combine the butter, hot sauce, and garlic powder in a small saucepan over low heat.
  3. Heat until the butter is melted and the ingredients are well blended.
  4. Set aside.
  5. Combine the flour, Cajun Spice Mix Recipe in a large zip lock bag put the wings into the bag shake to coat each wing evenly.
  6. Put the wings in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  7. Helps adhered Flour to wings.
  8. Put all the wings into the hot oil and fry them for 10 to 15 minutes.
  9. Remove the wings from the oil to a paper towel to drain.
  10. As soon as drained into the hot sauce mixture stir to coat them.
  11. Serve with lots of Bleu cheese dressing and celery sticks on the side.
  12. This will help cool down the heat.
