Better Than a Restaurant’s Nachos Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 2 1/2ouncestortilla chips(approx. 25)
  2. 3/4cupMexican blend cheeseor cheddar cheese
  3. 1/3cupcanned black beans, rinsed
  4. 6ouncescanned chicken or leftovercooked chicken(taco meat works well, too)
  5. 3tablespoonssalsa
  6. 2tablespoonssour cream
  7. 2tablespoonsguacamole

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Line 8 inch round cake pan with tin foil, if desired.
  3. Spread tortilla chips evenly in cake pan; some overlap is fine.
  4. Sprinkle cheese over the chips, making sure all the chips have some cheese on them.
  5. Sprinkle salsa over the cheese.
  6. Pour black beans and chicken over the salsa and cheese.
  7. Bake for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
  8. Serve in the cake pan.
  9. Serve with sour cream and guacamole, if desired.
