Banana and Semolina Pudding (Sheera) Recipe
INGREDIENTS
- 1cupfine semolina
- 2cupsmilk or half-and-half(Milk and water)
- 2small ripebananas, mashed
- 1cupsugar(or to taste- I use less around 3/4th cup)
- 1/2cupraisins
- 3cardamom powder
- 3tablespoonsclarified butter(ghee, cannot substitute this with anything else in my humble opinion)
DIRECTIONS
- Roast the semolina in the clarified butter for 10 mins till golden brown.
- Then add 2 cups of milk/ half and half.
- When cooked add the mashed bananas and the sugar.
- Then when the mixture is almost dry, add the cardamoms and raisins.
- Serve hot or cold.
