Balti Prawns Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 20largeking prawns, cooked shelled
  2. 2onions, chopped
  3. 2tablespoonstomato puree
  4. 1teaspoonground coriander
  5. 1/2teaspoonturmeric
  6. 1teaspoonchili powder
  7. 2fresh green chilies
  8. 2tablespoonsfresh coriander leaves, chopped
  9. 1teaspoonsalt
  10. 1teaspoonlemon juice
  11. 3tablespoonsoil
  12. 1fresh green chile, chopped

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a blender process the onions, tomato puree, ground coriander, turmeric, the 2 green chillies, and coriander, with the lemon juice and salt.
  2. Heat the oil in a wok, add the spice mix and fry till the sauce starts to thicken.
  3. Add the prawns and fry over medium heat for 3 minutes.
  4. Serve with the chopped chilli as a garnish.
