Amish Maple Cream Pie Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1 (14 ounce)cancondensed milk
  2. 2/3cupreal maple syrup, i usually use dark grade b
  3. 1pinchsalt
  4. 9inches bakedpie shells
  5. whipped cream or Cool Whip(to garnish)

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a large saucepan combine maple syrup, condensed milk and the pinch of salt.
  2. Heat over very low heat, stirring constantly until bubbles form in center of pan.
  3. Cool slightly.
  4. Pour into baked pie shell.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  6. Top with whipped cream or cool whip when ready to serve.
