INGREDIENTS
- 1cup stickmargarine(or butter)
- 1cupgranulated sugar
- 1cupbrown sugar, packed
- 2largeeggs
- 1tablespoonwater
- 1teaspoonvanilla
- 2 1/4cupsflour
- 1teaspoonbaking soda
- 2 1/2cupsoatmeal
- chocolate chips(to taste)
DIRECTIONS
- Cream the margarine and sugars.
- Add the eggs and mix.
- Add the water and vanilla, mix.
- Mix together the flour and baking soda and add to the mixture Fold in the oatmeal and chocolate chips.
- Spoon on a cookie sheet and bake at 350° until they just start to turn brown, if you like them chewy.

INGREDIENTS
- 1/4cup choppedonions
- 1clovegarlic, minced
- 2tablespoonsoil
- 2cups cookedgarbanzo beans
- 2potatoes, cooked
- 2tablespoonstahini(sesame paste)
- 1tablespoonlemon juice
- 1tablespoonpowdered milk
- 2teaspoonssoy sauce
- salt (optional)
- 1tablespoon choppedparsley (optional)
- 1/2teaspoonchili powder (optional)
- otherspices, to personal taste (optional)
DIRECTIONS
- Saute onion and garlic in oil.
- Mash or puree garbanzos and potatoes together.
- Add sauteed onion, tahini, lemon juice, milk powder, soy sauce, and other spices as desired.
- Shape into patties and place on greased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350 for 10 min on each side (they will be very soft when turning the first time) Alternately, you can pan fry them in a little oil (I use olive oil) if you prefer them golden and crispier on the outside.
- Serve in pita with lettuce, tomato, and cucumber.

INGREDIENTS
- 8mediumapples(chopped)
- 1 (8 ounce)jarmaraschino cherries(cut in half)
- 2stalkscelery(chopped)
- 1cupred seedless grapes(cut in half)
- 1cup coarsely choppedpeanuts

Dressing
- 3/4-1cupMiracle Whip
- 2cupsCool Whip
- 1/4-1/2cupsugar
DIRECTIONS
- Mix first 5 ingredients together.
- Mix dressing ingredients together well and stir into salad.
- Eat immediately as nuts go soft after it sits for a while.

INGREDIENTS
- 1headlettuce, broken into bite sized pieces.
- 4-5green onions, sliced including tops
- 1lb friedbacon, broken into pieces

Dressing
- 3/4cupbacon grease
- 5eggs
- 1cupcider vinegar
- 1/2-1cupsugar, to taste
- 1/4cupwater
DIRECTIONS
- Put first three ingredients in a large bowl.
- Combine sugar, eggs, vinegar, water& pepper.
- Pour into hot grease and cook until thick.
- Cool 5 minutes and then pour over salad ingredients.
- Stir and serve immediately, it will really wilt as it sets.

INGREDIENTS
- 1 (18 1/2 ounce)packageyellow cake mix, without pudding.
- 1 (11 ounce)canmandarin oranges, undrained
- 4eggs
- 1/2cupvegetable oil
- 1 (15 ounce)cancrushed pineapple, undrained
- 1 (8 ounce)containerwhipped topping
- 1 (3 3/4 ounce)boxinstant vanilla pudding(have used SF with good results)
DIRECTIONS
- Combine cake mix, oranges, eggs& oil.
- Beat for 2 minutes at high speed.
- Beat at low speed for one minute more.
- Pour into 13 x 9 ungreased pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 28-30 minutes.
- For Frosting: Combine Pineapple and pudding mix, beat for 2 minutes.
- Let stand for 5 minutes.
- Fold in whipped topping.
- Frost cake and chill at least 2 hours.
