INGREDIENTS
- 25mediumjalapeno peppers
- 1 (8 ounce)packagecream cheese, softened
- 3cups shreddedcheddar cheese
- 1 1/4teaspoonsworcestershire sauce
- 4slicesbacon, cooked and crumbled
DIRECTIONS
- Cut jalapeno peppers in half lengthwise; remove seeds.Place peppers in boiling water for 5 minutes.Drain well.
- Combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese and worchestershire sauce, stir well.
- Place one heaping teaspoon cheese mixture on each pepper half.Sprinkle with bacon; Place on a baking sheet.
- Bake at 400°F for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.

INGREDIENTS
- 1lbdry pinto beans
- 8cupswater(I use 4 cups of beef stock 4 cups water)
- 1mediumonion, diced
- 1green pepper, diced
- 2clovesgarlic, minced
- 2tablespoonsWorcestershire sauce
- 1tablespoonchili powder
- 1/2teaspoonsalt
- 1/2teaspoondry mustard
- 1/2teaspoonpepper
- 1 (10 ounce)can dicedtomatoes and green chilies
DIRECTIONS
- Place beans in a dutch oven: add water 2 inches above beans.
- Bring to a boil, boil 1 minute.
- Cover and remove from heat and let stand 1 hour Drain Bring beans and 8 cups water to a boil in dutch oven Cover, reduce heat and simmer 1 hour until beans are tender Add onion, and the next 7 ingredients simmer 30 minutes Add tomatoes simmer 30 minutes and serve.

INGREDIENTS
- 1/2cupborax
- 4tablespoonsliquid soap(I use Murphy’s Oil Soap)
- essential oils, as desired
DIRECTIONS
- Put the borax in a container with a lid. Add the liquid soap a bit at a time.
- The borax won’t dissolve.
- Mix (I use a fork to mix.) When the mixture is the consistency of frosting it is ready to use.
- Add essential oils if desired.
- I am going to try orange next time!
- Scrub away!
- You can make as much or as little as you like.
- Keep covered so it doesn’t dry out.

INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2teaspoonssalt
- 1teaspoonpepper
- 1tablespoongarlic powder
- 1teaspoonground cinnamon
- 2 1/2tablespoonscumin powder(or chili powder)
- 2tablespoonsunsweetened cocoa powder
- 1largeonion, coarse chopped
- 2tablespoonsoil, of your choice
- 2 (15 ounce)cansstewed tomatoes
- 1cupwater
- 1 (6 ounce)cantomato sauce
- 1 (15 ounce)canblack beans, rinsed well drained
- 1 (15 ounce)candark red kidney beans, rinsed drained
- 3/4cup choppedcilantro
- 1largered pepper, cut into large chunks
- 1mediumgreen pepper or yellow pepper, chunked
- 4boneless skinless chicken breast halves
- olive oil
- 1teaspoonsalt
- cilantro leaves
DIRECTIONS
- Fry first 7 ingredients in the 2 tbsp. oil ’til onions are transparent.
- Add next 6 ingredients, simmer 45 mins., meanwhile prepare chicken:
- Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces.
- In a bowl, cover breast chunks with olive oil, add salt, cilantro and set aside.(I do this the night before and let it marinade overnight in a baggie)
- Add more water to the chili (or other liquid: broth, black coffee) if necessary.
- Add the pepper chunks, simmer for 1/2 hr.
- Meanwhile, remove chicken from marinade (discard leftover marinade) and grill 4-5 mins.
- I use a George Forman grill, or broil.
- When the chili is ready, gently stir-in the grilled chicken. Don’t cook, just heat low for 20 minutes.
- Adjust seasoning. Optional: 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper can be added.
- Serve over rice or in a bread bowl.
- Toppings: sour cream, grated jalapeno-jack cheese.

INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2lbsstewing beef, cut into 1 inch chunks
- 1onion, chopped into 1 inch pieces
- 2carrots, cleaned and chopped into 1 inch pieces
- 2celery ribs, cut into 1 inch pieces
- 3smallpotatoes, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce)cantomato soup
- 1teaspoonsalt
- 1teaspoonpepper
- 1teaspoonbasil
DIRECTIONS
- Put the meat, carrots, onion and spices into a Dutch oven.
- Cover with tomato soup, making sure all the pieces are covered.
- Bake at 325 degrees for 3 hours.
- Add potatoes and cook for an additional 45 minutes.
- Enjoy!
