Bacon Cheese Breakfast Casserole Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1/2loafFrench bread, cubed
  2. 4ouncesgruyere cheese, shredded
  3. 4ouncesmonterey jack cheese, shredded
  4. 12slicesbacon, cooked and crumbled
  5. 2scallions, chopped
  6. 8eggs
  7. 1 1/3cupsmilk
  8. 1/3cupwhite wine
  9. 1teaspoonDijon mustard
  10. 3/4cupsour cream
  11. 1/4teaspoonblack pepper
  12. 1/8teaspooncayenne pepper
  13. 1/2cupparmesan cheese, grated

DIRECTIONS

  1. Spray 9×13 pan with cooking spray.
  2. Cover bottom with bread, sprinkle with cheeses, bacon and scallions.
  3. Beat together eggs through cayanne pepper until foamy.Pour over bread, cheese, bacon and scallion mixture.
  4. Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
  5. Remove foil and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake uncovered for 30 more minutes.

Chicken Ala King Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 2tablespoonsoil
  2. 1/2lbsliced mushrooms
  3. 1/2smallonion, chopped
  4. 1 (10 1/2 ounce)cancream of chicken soupor cream of mushroom soup
  5. 1teaspoonpoultry seasoning
  6. 1cupmilk
  7. 2tablespoonspimientos, chopped (optional)
  8. 2cupscooked chicken, diced or cooked turkey
  9. 1cupfrozen peas
  10. salt and pepper
  11. 6biscuitsor toast

DIRECTIONS

  1. Saute the onion and mushrooms in the oil until onion is translucent.
  2. Add the soup, poultry seasoning, and milk mixing until well blended.
  3. Add the pimento, if using, the chicken, peas, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cook 10-12 minutes.
  5. Cut biscuits in half.
  6. Serve chicken and gravy sauce on biscuits or toast points, if preferred.
