Penne With Chicken and Gorgonzola Cheese Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 4chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  2. 1/2teaspoonsalt, divided
  3. 1/2teaspoonfresh ground pepper, divided
  4. 1tablespoonolive oil
  5. 1/4lbshiitake mushrooms, sliced
  6. 1cupheavy creamor half-and-half
  7. 1/2cup crumbledgorgonzola, divided
  8. 1/3cup freshly gratedparmesan cheese
  9. 1/2lbpenne, cooked according to package directions
  10. 2tablespoons choppedfresh parsley

DIRECTIONS

  1. Sprinkle chicken with 1/4 teaspoon each salt and pepper.Heat oil in a 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium high heat.Add chicken and brown 2 minutes per side, until edges are light brown.
  2. Add mushroom and cook, stirring often until softened, 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Stir in cream and cook until mixture is reduced by half, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Stir in 1/4 cup gorgonzola and parmesan.Simmer, stirring about 1 more minute, until cheeses melt.Stir in remaining salt and pepper.
  5. Toss hot pasta with sauce then sprinke remaining 1/4 gorgonzola and parsley on top.Warning:This is not a low fat meal, so you should enjoy immensely.

My Best Ever Pink Salmon Patties Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1 (14 ounce)canpink salmon, in water
  2. 3tablespoonsgreen onions, sliced(about 3 green onions)
  3. 1tablespoonred onions, finley minced
  4. 1tablespoongreen peppers, finely minced
  5. 1teaspoongarlic, finely minced(about 1 small clove)
  6. 1/4teaspoonMolly McButter, fat free
  7. 1 1/2teaspoonslemon pepper
  8. 1/8teaspoonwhite pepper
  9. 1/8teaspoonseason salt
  10. 1/8teaspoongarlic powder
  11. 1/8teaspoonliquid smoke (optional)
  12. 1 1/2teaspoonsbutter, softened
  13. 1tablespoonflour
  14. 1largeegg

DIRECTIONS

  1. Quick and Easy!
  2. Just add all ingredients into a medium size bowl.
  3. Mix Well.
  4. Cover and let sit for atleast 10 minutes to let the flavors and seasonings to merge together.
  5. Form into patties.
  6. Spray frying pan with butter flavored cooking spray ( even though it does taste better if you put about 2 tablespoons butter in the frying pan let melt).
  7. Place patties in pan; cook until crispy and dark golden brown on each side; about 3 to 4 minutes on each side, on medium to medium-high heat.
