Best Carrot Cake With Cream Cheese Icing Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. Cake

  2. 2cupsflour
  3. 2teaspoonsground cinnamon
  4. 1teaspoonbaking powder
  5. 1/4teaspoonsalt
  6. 2/3cupbutter, softened
  7. 1cupsugar
  8. 3largeeggs
  9. 2/3cupmilk
  10. 3mediumcarrots, grated
  11. 1/2cupnuts, chopped
  12. Icing

  13. 1/2cupbutter, softened
  14. 4ouncescream cheese, softened
  15. 1teaspoonvanilla
  16. 2 1/2cupsconfectioners’ sugar
  17. Topping

  18. 1/4cupnuts, finely chopped
  19. 2tablespoonslight brown sugar

DIRECTIONS

  1. For cake, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9-inch round cake pan. Dust with flour.
  2. In bowl, mix together flour, cinnamon, baking powder and salt.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs, 1 at a time.
  5. Beat flour mixture and milk into butter mixture.
  6. Stir in carrots and nuts.
  7. Pour into pan.
  8. Bake cake for 40 minutes.
  9. Let cake cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan.
  10. For icing, beat butter and cream cheese.
  11. Beat in vanilla.
  12. Beat in sugar.
  13. Mix topping ingredients in separate bowl.
  14. Spread icing on cake when it is completely cooled.
  15. Sprinkle nut mixture on top of cake.

Not Just for Fall Pumpkin Cake Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1 3/4cupsflour
  2. 2teaspoonsbaking powder
  3. 1/4teaspoonsalt
  4. 1teaspoonground cinnamon
  5. 1/2teaspoonnutmeg
  6. 1/2teaspoonground ginger
  7. 1/2teaspoonground cloves
  8. 1cupsugar
  9. 1 (15 ounce)canpumpkin
  10. 1/2cupsour cream
  11. 1/2cupvegetable oil
  12. 2largeeggs

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350.Coat an 8 inch cake pan with vegetable oil spray and set aside.
  2. Whisk the flour, baking powder, salt, spices and sugar together in a large mixing bowl.Make a large well in the center of the flour so that you can see the bottom of the bowl.Scoop the pumpkin into the well, and use a spatula to make a well in the pumpkin.
  3. Put the sour cream, vegetable oil and eggs into the center.Whisk the batter from the inside out, first mixing together the soft ingredients, then slowly adding in the dry ingredients from the outside of the bowl.When completely blended pour into the prepared pan.
  4. Bake the cake on the middle rack for 35-45 minutes or until the cake is puffed and slightly cracked in the middle and browned at the edges, and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.Allow the cake to cool for about 10 minutes.
  5. Run a knife around the outside edges of the pan and invert onto a cooling rack.Once cooled, serve with your favorite chocolate sauce drizzled onto plate before placing cake in center.Enjoy!

World’s Best Cheese Cake Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 2 1/2cupsgraham cracker crumbs
  2. 1tablespooncinnamon
  3. 1/2cupunsalted butter, melted
  4. 2 (8 ounce)packagescream cheese, room temperature
  5. 2eggs
  6. 3/4cupsugar, divided
  7. 1cupwhipping cream
  8. 1cupsour cream
  9. 1teaspoonvanilla

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. Dry mix graham cracker crumbs and cinnamon and mix in melted butter, until uniform and all crumbs are wetted out.
  3. Press into the bottom of a spring form pan and up the sides an inch or so.Set aside.
  4. Mix cream cheese in a large bowl with an electric mixer until soft and workable.
  5. Add eggs, 1/2 C sugar and vanilla and mix with electric mixer until smooth.
  6. Add whipping cream slowly with mixing to avoid lumping.
  7. Pour batter into prepared crust, and bake for 45 minutes.
  8. Mix sour cream and 1/4 C sugar and spread this evenly over the baked cheese cake.
  9. Bake for 15 more minutes.
  10. Cake is done when toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  11. Top with fruit pie filling if desired.

Apple Crunch Squares Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 3/4cuprolled oats
  2. 1/4cupbrown sugar
  3. 2tablespoonsbrown sugar
  4. 1/4cupflour
  5. 1/8teaspoonsalt
  6. 1/4teaspooncinnamon
  7. 2tablespoonsbutter
  8. 2teaspoonsbutter
  9. 1 1/2cupsapplesauce
  10. 2tablespoonsbrown sugar
  11. 1teaspoonnutmeg

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 375* and grease a large loaf pan.
  2. Mix rolled oats, 1/4 cup & 2 T. brown sugar,flour, salt & cinnamon together thoroughly.
  3. Cut in the 2T & 2tsp. butter thoroughly into the oatmeal mixture.
  4. This is the crumb mixture.
  5. Put 1/2 crumb mixture into loaf pan.
  6. Spread 1 1/2 cups applesauce over crumbs.
  7. Cover applesauce with the other 1/2 crumb mixture, sprinkle the 2 T brown sugar & nutmeg on top of final layers of crumbs.
  8. Bake 25 minutes.

Baked Spaghetti With Ground Turkey Meat Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 16ouncesspaghetti noodles
  2. 1 1/4lbsground turkey breast
  3. 1cupgreen peppers(chopped)
  4. 1cupyellow onions(chopped)
  5. 1 (4 1/2 ounce)jarmushrooms
  6. 1 (14 1/2 ounce)diced tomatoes(no salt added)
  7. 2 (10 3/4 ounce)canscream of mushroom soup
  8. 2cupslow-fat cheddar cheese
  9. 1/2cupwater
  10. 1/4cupparmesan cheese(grated)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Cook Spaghetti noodles until done and set aside.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9×13 casserole dish.
  3. Cook the turkey breast, green peppers and onions in a skillet on medium heat until turkey is no longer pink.
  4. Add the drained jar of mushrooms and the can of diced tomatoes to skillet. Simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. In a small bowl mix two cans of cream of mushroom soup with the water.
  6. In the casserole dish place half of the cooked noodles, then topped with half the meat mixture,then 1 cup cheese and finally half the cream of mushroom soup mixture. Repeat. Top with the grated Parmesan cheese.
  7. Cook on 350 for 35 minutes.
