INGREDIENTS
- 220gbutter
- 90gcaster sugar
- 185g siftedflour
- 1tablespoon siftedcocoa
- 2 1/2cupsWeet-Bix
DIRECTIONS
- Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add dry ingredients to butter mixture and place teaspoons of mixture onto greased baking sheets, pressing down slightly with a fork.
- Bake at 180 c for 12- 15 minutes.
- Ice with chocoalte icing when cold.

INGREDIENTS
- 3/4cupwateror brothor mushrooms, soaking liquid
- 1tablespoonyeast extract
- 1tablespoon soy freeliquid gravy browner
- 1tablespoonsalt
DIRECTIONS
- The yeast extract can be Marmite or similar. The mushroom soaking liquid is suppose to be just that and not have a comma.
- Simply mix.
- Sub 1 tbsp for soy sauce.
- If you want a more complex flavor add wine, broth or mushroom concentrate to the dish in addition to this recipe.

INGREDIENTS
- 1onion, chopped
- 1garlic clove
- 2cupslong grain brown rice
- 1stalkcelery
- 4ouncesgreen beans
- 4ounceszucchini, chopped
- 4ouncesbroccoli florets
- 1green pepper
- 2tablespoonscurrants
- 7tablespoonslight soy sauceor tamari
- 1pintboiling water
- 1bay leaf
DIRECTIONS
- Use non stick spray.
- Cook onion, add garlic and rice and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add vegetables, currants, bay leaf and water.
- Bring to a boil, then simmer covered for 30 minutes or until rice is cooked.
- Add soy sauce and cook covered for 5 minutes. remove bay leaf and serve.

INGREDIENTS
- 1/2cupbleu cheese salad dressing
- 1cupItalian style breadcrumbs
- 4chicken breast halves or6 chicken thighs
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Skin and debone chicken if necessary.
- Place bleu cheese dressing and breadcrumbs in seperate, shallow containers.
- Dip chicken pieces in bleu cheese; then dredge in bread crumbs until thickly coated.
- Place in greased glass baking pan; pour any remaining bleu cheese dressing and bread crumbs over top.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.

INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2lbspork, cubed
- 2onions, sliced
- 6garlic cloves, chopped
- 6ouncesghee
- 1teaspoonpaprika
- 1/2teaspoonturmeric
- 1teaspoonfenugreek seeds
- 1tablespoonfresh ginger, finely chopped
- 2green chilies
- 1teaspoonsalt
- 1/4pintwater
- 2tablespoonstamarind paste
- 1 1/2teaspoonsgaram masala
- 2bay leaves
- 6cardamoms, slpit open
- 4cloves
DIRECTIONS
- Melt the ghee ( or butter) in a large pan and fry the onions till golden.
- Add the diced pork and fry to seal in the juices.
- Reduce the heat and add the paprika, turmeric, fenugreek seeds, ginger, chillies, and the salt.
- Add the water, cover with a lid and simmer for about 30 mins till the meat is cooked.
- In a little water soak the tamarind to release the flavour and form a pulp.
- Bring the pan to the boil and add tamarind pulp, garam masala, bay leaves, cardamoms and the cloves. Stir well, reduce heat to low and cook 30 minutes.
