Rich Lasagne Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 500glamb, minced
  2. 500gbeef mince
  3. 1cupred wine
  4. 450mlspaghetti sauce
  5. 2garlic cloves
  6. 2red onions
  7. fresh cracked pepper
  8. 1tablespoonsoy sauce
  9. 1tablespoonbasil pesto
  10. 1teaspoondried thyme
  11. 1tablespoonbrown sugar
  12. 1pinchspices, mixed
  13. 4slicesbacon
  14. 2tablespoonscream cheese
  15. 2tablespoonsolive oil
  16. 1tablespoonbutter
  17. 1tablespoonpesto sauce

DIRECTIONS

  1. add oil to large pot slice onion fry until caramelized.
  2. Add thyme,garlic, mixed spices.
  3. chop up bacon into cubes add to pot cook until browned.
  4. add red wine boil for a few minutes.
  5. Add mince, fry off minces until brown then add spagetti sauce ( I use the sauce that has red wine and mushrooms). Cook for 15 minutes stiring occationally then add pesto, brown sugar and soya sauce.
  6. turn down to low cook for a further 15 minutes
  7. before serving add creme cheese
  8. cook your favorite pasta and stir in butter and pesto
  9. serve with a small amount of sour creme on top (optional).

Rice Salad Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1cuplong grain white rice
  2. 4spring onions(scallions)
  3. 100gham
  4. 1red capsicum(red bell pepper)
  5. 1carrot
  6. 2 (125 g)canned corn kernels
  7. 440gpineapple chunks in juice
  8. 2tablespoonssoy sauce
  9. 1tablespoonhoney

DIRECTIONS

  1. Cook rice in a large pan of boiling salted water until just tender (about 12-15 minutes or as per manufacturers instructions).Rinse under cold water.
  2. While rice is cooking -.
  3. Finely slice spring onions (scallions), finely chop ham, finely chop red capsicum (bell pepper).
  4. Drain corn kernels and rinse and drain.Drain pineapple (reserve juice for another use).
  5. Combine cooked rice, spring onions, ham, capsicum, carrot, corn and pineapple in a large bowl.
  6. Combine soy sauce and honey in a small bowl, whisk until blended.
  7. Pour sauce mixture over salad until well combined.

Vegetarian Manicotti Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 8manicotti, cooked, drained
  2. 1 (15 ounce)packagefat-free ricotta cheese
  3. 1cup gratedparmesan cheese
  4. 2eggs
  5. 1/2cupparsley, finely chopped
  6. 2garlic cloves, minced
  7. 1/2teaspoonsalt
  8. 1/4teaspoonpepper
  9. 1smallonion, finely chopped
  10. 1garlic clove, minced
  11. 1tablespoonolive oil
  12. 2 (15 ounce)cansdiced tomatoes
  13. 1/2teaspoonsugar
  14. 1/2teaspoondried basil
  15. 1/2teaspoonoregano
  16. 1bay leaf
  17. 1/2teaspoonsalt
  18. 1/4teaspoonpepper

DIRECTIONS

  1. Cook and drain manicotti shells.
  2. Make tomato sauce with last 10 ingredients.First, saute garlic and onion in large skillet 2-3 minutes.Then add tomatoes and other ingredients-bring to a boil.Reduce heat and simmer, covered, 20 minutes.Remove bay leaf.
  3. Mix ricotta, 3/4 cup parmesan cheese, eggs, 1/4 cup parsley, 2 cloves garlic, salt and pepper.
  4. Stuff shells with mixture and arrange in baking dish.
  5. Spoon tomato sauce over shells.
  6. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes, covered in tinfoil.
  7. Add 1/4 Celsius parmesan cheese and parsley.Remove tinfoil and cook for five minutes more.

Peanut Butter Sauce Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1/2lbground beef
  2. 1mediumonion, chopped
  3. 2tablespoonstomato paste
  4. 2cupswater
  5. 1/2cupnatural-style peanut butter
  6. 3/4teaspoonsalt
  7. 1bouillon cube
  8. 1tablespoonchili powder

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a medium pot, brown ground beef until cooked through.
  2. Add onion, tomato paste and water. Bring to boil and boil, covered, for 5 minutes.
  3. Add peanut butter and boil, uncovered, 5 minutes more. Stir often.
  4. Add salt, bouillon cube and chili powder. Mix well. Let boil about 5 minutes longer without stirring.

Vegetarian Oyster Sauce by Byranna Grogan Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1 huglimushroom stock cubes
  2. 1/2cupboiling water
  3. 2tablespoons chinesebrown bean sauceor dark soy sauceor chickpeamiso
  4. 1tablespoonsucanator brown sugar
  5. 1teaspooncornstarch
  6. 1teaspooncold water

DIRECTIONS

  1. Dissolve the cornstarch in the cold water.
  2. Dissolve the broth cube in the boiling water.
  3. Mix with the sauce and the sugar in small saucepan and heat to boiling.
  4. Add the dissolved corn starch and stir until it thickens.
  5. Cool and store in covered jar.
