Ww 2 Points Honey Sesame Roasted Green Beans Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1/2teaspoontoasted sesame oil
  2. 2teaspoonshoney
  3. 1tablespoon mincedgarlic
  4. 1lbfresh green beans(ends trimmed)
  5. 1tablespoonolive oil
  6. 4teaspoonssesame seeds

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine sesame oil, honey & garlic in small bowl & set aside.
  2. Drizzle green beans with olive oil and sprinkle with salt to taste, and toss.
  3. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and roast beans in 450 degree oven for 10 minutes.
  4. remove from oven and spoon honey/garlic mixture over beans, toss and return to oven for 10-12 minutes (until beans are dark and begin to shrivel).
  5. Toss with sesame seeds and serve.

Kat's Mom's Novocain Cocktail Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1ouncefat-free half-and-halfor cream
  2. 1ounceKahluaor coffee liqueur
  3. 1ouncebrandy

DIRECTIONS

  1. Hide car keys someplace you will find them when you are yourself again.
  2. Stir together (no ice - you have a toothache after all!).
  3. Sip and feel better!

Kung Pao Shrimp Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 3/4lbmedium shrimp, shelled and deveined
  2. 2tablespoonscornstarch
  3. 1egg white, lightly beaten
  4. 1/3cupvegetable oil
  5. 1/2cup skinlessroasted peanuts
  6. 1/4teaspooncrushed red pepper flakes
  7. 6ouncesChinese pea pods
  8. 1 (8 ounce)cansliced water chestnuts, drained
  9. 3scallions, chopped
  10. 2garlic cloves, minced
  11. 1teaspoonchili paste
  12. 1/4cupsoy sauce
  13. 3tablespoonsdry sherry
  14. 1teaspoonred wine vinegar
  15. 2teaspoonssugar
  16. 1/2cupchicken broth
  17. 1tablespooncold water

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the shrimp with 1 tablespoon cornstarch and egg white.
  2. Toss to mix thoroughly.
  3. In a skillet, heat oil over high heat until hot. Add shrimp and stir-fry until pink and loosely curled, 1-2 minutes.
  4. With a slotted spoon, remove shrimp to a bowl.
  5. Add peanuts to oil in skillet and fry for 30 seconds.
  6. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  7. Drain off and discard all but 2 tablespoons of oil from the skillet.
  8. Add hot pepper flakes, pea pods, water chestnuts, scallions and garlic.
  9. Stir-fry over medium-high heat for 2 minutes.
  10. Return shrimp to the pan and stir-fry for 1 minute longer.
  11. Mix in chili paste, soy sauce, sherry, red wine vinegar, sugar and chicken broth until well blended.
  12. Dissolve remaining cornstarch in cold water and add to pan.
  13. Cook over high heat, stirring, until sauce boils and thickens, about 2 minutes.
  14. Add peanuts and mix well. Serve immediately.

Ww 1 Point Potato and Apple Latke Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1largeyukon gold potato, peeled
  2. 1mediumapple, cored and quartered
  3. 4teaspoonsdried onion flakes
  4. 1largeegg, beaten
  5. 1/4teaspoonsalt
  6. 1/4teaspoonpepper
  7. 1/4teaspooncinnamon
  8. 3dashescooking spray(3 sprays)
  9. 1/2cupfat free sour cream

DIRECTIONS

  1. Shred potato and apple into medium sized bowl using the finest holes of a box grater or food processor, stir in onion.
  2. coat a very large nonstick skillet with cooking spray, heat over medium-high heat.
  3. Drop potato mixture by tablespoonsfuls into skillet and flatten each with the back of a spoon to make 20 2″ latkes. (leave atleast 1 inch between each).
  4. Cook latkes until golden on first side, abotu 3 minutes, and gently flip with spatula.
  5. Cook until toher side is golden, about 3-4 minutes more.
  6. Carefully remove from pan onto serving plate, cover to keep warm and repeat with remaining batter.
  7. Top latkes with sour cream before serving.
  8. Serving size is 2 latkes and 2 t. of sour cream.
