Cheese Ravioli With Meatsauce Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1lbground beef(I have substituted ground deer as well and it comes out fine.)
  2. 1 (25 1/2 ounce)can of your preferredred pasta sauce
  3. 35-40 frozencheese ravioli
  4. oregano
  5. basil
  6. salt (optional)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Season raw meat with oregano, basil and salt to taste.
  2. Brown in microwave (3 minutes on HIGH, chop and stir, another 3 minutes on HIGH).
  3. Drain meat.
  4. Pour sauce over browned meat.
  5. Microwave on HIGH for 3 minutes.
  6. Bring water to a brisk boil in large pot.
  7. Slowly add ravioli to boiling water. Add salt if desired.
  8. Cook as desired, stirring occasionally to prevent ravioli from sticking to each other and pot.(About 2 minutes for al dente and 6 minutes for well done.).
  9. Drain ravioli and add to meatsauce.

Blueberry Pie a La Dr Weil Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1 1/2lbsblueberries(fresh or frozen)
  2. 1/2cuplight brown sugar
  3. 1/2 freshlemon, juice of
  4. 1teaspooncinnamon
  5. 2tablespoonscornstarchor arrowroot
  6. 2tablespoonscold water
  7. 1 bakedpie crust

DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat the blueberries in a saucepan over medium heat until they begin to boil. Simmer gently for 10 minutes.
  2. Add the sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon, and cook for another 2 minutes.
  3. Mix the cornstarch or arrowroot well with the water, and pour mixture into the simmering blueberries while stirring. Cook, stirring, until mixture becomes clear and thick. Continue to cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat and cool.
  4. Spoon mixture into the pie crust and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Colourful Vegetable Couscous Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1/4litercouscous
  2. 1/4literchicken broth
  3. 1/3cucumber
  4. 1tomato
  5. 1/4red onion
  6. 1tablespoonolive oil
  7. 1tablespoonmargarine

DIRECTIONS

  1. slice tomato and cucumber into small dices.
  2. finely cut onion.
  3. let the oninon stir in olive oil for a while.
  4. add water/broth and bring to boil.
  5. Add couscous and let all the water be absorbed.
  6. Add margarine and stir.

Peanut Butter Munchies Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1 1/2cupsall-purpose flour
  2. 1/2cupunsweetened cocoa powder
  3. 1/2teaspoonbaking soda
  4. 1/2cupbutter, softened
  5. 1/2cupgranulated sugar
  6. 1/2cupbrown sugar, packed
  7. 1/4cuppeanut butter
  8. 1egg
  9. 1tablespoonmilk
  10. 1teaspoonvanilla
  11. 3/4cuppowdered sugar, sifted before measuring
  12. 1/2cuppeanut butter
  13. 2tablespoonsgranulated sugar

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degree F.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl stir together flour, cocoa powder, and baking soda; set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl beat together butter, the 1/2 cup granulated sugar, brown sugar, and the 1/4 cup peanut butter with an electric mixer until combined.
  4. Add egg, milk, and vanilla; beat well.
  5. Beat in as much of the dry ingredients as you can with mixer.
  6. Stir in remaining dry ingredients by hand with a wooden spoon.
  7. Form chocolate dough into 32 balls about 1-1/4 inches in diameter.
  8. Set aside.
  9. On a work surface, slightly flatten a chocolate dough ball and top with a peanut butter ball.
  10. Shape the chocolate dough over the peanut butter filling, completely covering the filling.
  11. Roll dough into a ball.
  12. Repeat with the remaining chocolate dough and peanut butter filling balls.
  13. Place balls 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  14. Lightly flatten with the bottom of a glass dipped in the 2 tablespoons granulated sugar.
  15. Bake cookies in preheated oven for 8 minutes or until they are just set and surface is slightly cracked.
  16. Let cookies stand for 1 minute.
  17. Transfer cookies to wire racks; cool.

Mum’s Amazing Noodle Casserole Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 500gpasta
  2. 1pinchsalt
  3. 1 (500 g)canplum tomatoes
  4. 1/2mediumonion, chopped
  5. 2carrots, sliced into disks
  6. 1/2cupbroccoli, chopped
  7. 1/2cupcauliflower, chopped
  8. 2garlic cloves, finely chopped
  9. 3tablespoonscottage cheese
  10. 1 1/2cupscheddar cheese, grated

DIRECTIONS

  1. Cook pasta in salted water.
  2. Put pasta in baking dish (with a lid) and mix in rest of ingredients.
  3. Bake in 375F oven for 30 minutes.
