Cheesecake Mousse Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1/2cupwhipped cream cheese(about 3 ounces)
  2. 3tablespoonsconfectioners’ sugar
  3. 1/2teaspoonvanilla
  4. 1/2cup well-chilledheavy cream

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a bowl whisk together cream cheese, confectioners’ sugar, vanilla, and a pinch salt until smooth.
  2. In another bowl beat heavy cream until it holds soft peaks and whisk into cream-cheese mixture.
  3. Divide mixture between 2 goblets and chill, covered, 15 minutes.

Sour Cream Cake Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1cupsour cream
  2. 1teaspoonbaking soda
  3. 1/2cupmargarine
  4. 1cupsugar
  5. 2eggs(beaten)
  6. 1teaspoonvanilla
  7. 1 1/4cupsflour
  8. 2teaspoonsbaking powder
  9. topping

  10. 1/4cupbrown sugar
  11. 1tablespooncinnamon
  12. 3tablespoons choppedwalnuts

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Combine sour cream and baking soda first.
  3. Then add the rest of the ingredients.
  4. mix 3 topping ingredients together in separate bowl.
  5. Pour 1/2 batter into greased cake pan.
  6. Sprinkle 1/2 topping over batter.
  7. Pour rest of the cake batter and top again with the rest of the topping.
  8. Bake for 30 minutes or until toothpick commes out clean.

Strawberry Banana Shortcake Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. vegetable oil cooking spray
  2. 1egg
  3. 1/2cupsugar
  4. 3/4cuplow-fat buttermilk
  5. 1/4cupmargarine, melted
  6. 1teaspoonvanilla extract
  7. 2 1/3cups siftedcake flour
  8. 2teaspoonsbaking powder
  9. 1/4teaspoonbaking soda
  10. 1/4teaspoonsalt
  11. 1cuplow-fat vanilla yogurt
  12. 1/4cup firmly packedbrown sugar
  13. 1 1/4cups thinly slicedstrawberries
  14. 1 1/4cups sliced ripebananas
  15. 2teaspoonslemon juice
  16. 1tablespoonpowdered sugar

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Coat a 9″ round cake pan with cooking spray and line bottoms with wax paper and spray wax paper with cooking spray; set aside.
  3. Beat egg at medium speed with a mixer until foamy.
  4. Gradually add sugar, beating well.
  5. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  6. In a separate bowl, combine buttermilk, melted margarine, and vanilla.
  7. With mixer running at low speed, add flour mixture to egg mixture alternately with buttermilk mixture, beginning and ending with flour mixture.
  8. Pour batter into prepared pan.
  9. Bake 28 minutes.
  10. Let cool in pan 10 minutes on a wire rack; remove from pan.
  11. Let cool completely on wire rack.
  12. Combine yogurt and brown sugar; stir well.
  13. Using a serrated knife, split cake in half horizontally.
  14. Place bottom layer, cut side up, on serving plate.
  15. Spread with half of yogurt mixture, top with strawberries.
  16. Combine bananas and lemon juice and toss gently. Drain bananas and discard juice.
  17. Arrange bananas over strawberries; drizzle with remaining yogurt mixture.
  18. Top with remaining layer.
  19. Sift powdered sugar over cake.
  20. Serve with whipped cream also, if desired.

My Friend Bob’s Cheesy Potatoes Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 4mediumpotatoes, sliced thin
  2. 1cup gratedcheddar cheese
  3. 1/2cupchicken broth
  4. 1cupheavy cream
  5. 2-3garlic cloves, chopped
  6. salt and pepper

DIRECTIONS

  1. Simmer the garlic with the broth and cream in a sauce pan for about 5 minutes.
  2. Grease a casserole pan and put half the potatoes in - sprinkle with salt and pepper and 3/4 of cheese.
  3. Do another layer and pour mixture all over and bake at 350°. Sprinkle on remaining cheese and bake another 15 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
  4. Now enjoy :-).

  2. 2 1/4teaspoonspumpkin pie spice
  3. 2teaspoonsbaking powder
  4. 1teaspoonbaking soda
  5. 1cupgranulated sugar
  6. 1/3cupbutteror margarine, softened
  7. 1/2cup firmly packedbrown sugar
  8. 2largeeggs
  9. 2largeegg whites
  10. 1 (15 ounce)canpumpkin puree(such as Libby’s brand)
  11. 1cup finely shreddedcarrots
  12. Cream Cheese Topping

  13. 4ouncescream cheese
  14. 1/4cupgranulated sugar
  15. 1tablespoonmilk

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F
  2. Grease 15 x 10-inch jelly-roll pan.
  3. Combine flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking powder and baking soda in small bowl.
  4. Beat granulated sugar, butter and brown sugar in large mixer bowl until crumbly.
  5. Add eggs, egg whites, pumpkin and carrot; beat until well blended.
  6. Add flour mixture; mix well.
  7. Spread into prepared pan.
  8. Cream Cheese Topping:.
  9. Prepare cream cheese topping in separate bowl as follows –.
  10. Combine 4 ounces softened cream cheese, 1/4 cup granulated sugar and 1 tablespoon milk in small mixer bowl until thoroughly blended.
  11. Drop teaspoonfuls of cream cheese topping over batter; swirl mixture with spoon.
  12. BAKE for 25 to 30 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
