Rhubarb Meringue Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. Crust

  2. 1cupflour
  3. 5tablespoonspowdered sugar
  4. 1/2cupmargarineor butter
  5. Filling

  6. 3eggs, beaten
  7. 2cupssugar
  8. 1teaspoonvanilla extract
  9. 1/2cupflour
  10. 1teaspoonbaking powder
  11. 4cupsrhubarb, cut in small pieces(thinner stems are always more tender)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix 1 C flour and powdered sugar together.
  3. Cut the margarine or butter into the flour mixture.
  4. Press into a 9×9-inch pan or 9″ or 10″ round baking dish and bake for 15 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, beat together the eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, 1/2 C flour and baking powder.
  6. Mix in the rhubarb.
  7. Pour into the cooked crust and bake 45 min or till the meringue crust has formed & is lightly browned.

Cucumber Boats With Liver Pate Stuffing Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 4cucumbers
  2. 100gliverwurstor liver pate
  3. 1hard-boiled egg
  4. 1green onion, chopped
  5. 2-3sprigsfresh dill
  6. salt, to taste
  7. pepper, to taste
  8. red caviar, garnish (optional)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Wash and dry the cucumbers. Slice each cucumber into equal halves. Remove seeds and reserve. Cut off ends of cucumbers.
  2. In a small bowl, mash hard-boiled egg and liverwurst with a fork.
  3. Add cucumber seeds, green onion, dill and salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.
  4. Fill the hollowed out cucumbers with the mixture and garnish with the optional red caviar.

Banana Moon Facial Mask Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1banana, just ripe
  2. 1tablespoonhoney
  3. 1egg yolk
  4. 1teaspoonwheat germ oil
  5. 1tablespoon finely powderedoats
  6. 1teaspoonlemon juice (optional)
  7. essential oils(1 drop rose and 1 drop Melissa)(optional)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Peel and mash banana.
  2. Add honey, egg yolk, wheat germ oil, oats, and lemon juice, if used, and mash further to form a smooth, creamy paste.
  3. If mask is too thick, add a bit of distilled water, and stir until smooth.
  4. Add essential oils last, and stir to mix well.
  5. To use, apply to clean face and neck, avoiding eye and mouth areas.
  6. Rest for 10 minutes, or longer if your skin is very dry.
  7. Rinse with warm water, and follow with toner and moisturizer, if desired.
  8. Use mask within a few hours of making.

Chicken Enchiladas With Sour Cream Sauce Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1/4cupbutteror margarine
  2. 1/4cupall-purpose flour
  3. 1 (10 3/4 ounce)canchicken broth, undiluted
  4. 3/4cupwater
  5. 1 (8 ounce)cartonsour cream
  6. 4canned jalapeno peppers, seeded and chopped
  7. 12corn tortillas
  8. vegetable oil
  9. 1cup choppedcooked chicken
  10. 2 1/2cups shreddedmonterey jack cheese, divided
  11. 1 1/4cups choppedonions
  12. 1largetomato, finely chopped
  13. 1/4cuptomato juice
  14. 1/2teaspoonsalt

DIRECTIONS

  1. Melt the butter/margarine in a heavy saucepan over low heat; add flour, stirring until smooth.Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.Gradually add chicken broth and water; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly.Stir in sour cream and 2 chopped jalapeno peppers.Pour half of the sour cream sauce into a lightly greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish.Set aside dish and remaining sour cream sauce.
  2. Fry tortillas, one at a time, in 2 tablespoons oil in a medium skillet 5 seconds on each side or just until tortillas are softened; add additional oil, if necessary.Drain on paper towels.
  3. Place 1 tablespoon each of chicken, cheese, and onion on each tortilla; roll up tortillas, and place, seam side down, in reserved baking dish.Pour remaining sour cream sauce over top.Bake, uncovered, at 425 degrees for 20 minutes.Sprinkle remaining cheese on top; bake an additional 5 minutes or until cheese melts.Serve with enchilada relish, below:.
  4. Combine 1 large tomato (finely chopped), 1/2 cup finely chopped onion, 2 seeded and chopped jalapeno peppers, 1/4 cup tomato juice, and 1/2 tsp salt.Stir well and chill.Serve over the Chicken Enchiladas with Sour Cream.

Raspberries and Cream Mask for Sensitive Skin Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 6-8fresh raspberries
  2. 1tablespoonplain yogurt, with live & active cultures
  3. 1tablespoon organichoney

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mash the raspberries with the back of a fork or puree them in a blender or food processor.
  2. Add the yogurt and honey to the puree to form a thick mixture.
  3. Apply to the clean face and neck, avoiding the area around the eyes, and leave on for 10 minutes.
  4. Rinse off, using bottled or spring water and cotton pads.
  5. Follow with toner and moisturizer, if desired.
