INGREDIENTS
- 1cupcornmeal
- 1teaspoonsalt
- 1cupcold water
- 3cupsboiling water
DIRECTIONS
- Mix cornmeal, cold water & salt.
- Slowly stir cornmeal mixture into the boiling water in a saucepan.
- Cook and stir until thick.
- Lower heat.
- Cover and cook 15 minutes, stirring as needed.

INGREDIENTS
- 1lbonions, sliced thin
- 6tablespoonsunsalted butter
- 5cupsbeef stock
- 1teaspoonsalt
- 4slicesFrench bread, 1/2-inch thick
- 1cupgruyere cheeseor mozzarella cheese
- 2tablespoonsworcestershire sauce
- 1dashKitchen Bouquet
DIRECTIONS
- Melt butter in a large saucepan and add onions, stir well.
- Cover with a lid and cook over low heat for about 30 minutes or until onions are soft and transparent.
- Remove the lid and continue cooking the onions until golden brown.
- Stir in the beef stock. Replace the lid and simmer for 30 – 40 minutes.
- Add Worcestershire sauce, Kitchen Bouquet and salt, if needed.
- To serve, top bowl of soup with a slice of bread and 1/4 of the cheese.
- If desired, place under the broiler until cheese is melted.

INGREDIENTS
- 3/4cupsmoked sausage
- 2celery ribs, sliced
- 1 (16 ounce)packagesplit peas
- 2 (16 ounce)canschicken broth
- 1 (16 ounce)bagfrozen chopped onions
- 3carrots
- 1bay leaf
DIRECTIONS
- Brown sausage in small skillet until browned, drain well.
- Combine sausage & remaining ingredients in slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low 5 hours or until peas are tender.
- Turn off heat.
- Let stand 15 minutes to thicken.

INGREDIENTS
- 1lbground beef
- 1 (16 ounce)canstewed tomatoes
- 1 (16 ounce)canbaked beans
- 1tablespoonchili powder
- 1cuptortilla chips
- 1tablespooncumin
- 1cupcheddar cheese
- 1/8teaspooncayenne pepper
- 1cuprice
- 1 (16 ounce)canred kidney beans
- 1 (16 ounce)cantomato soup
- 1 (16 ounce)cansliced mushrooms
DIRECTIONS
- Brown meat in a large deep stove pot at medium heat until the meat is no longer pink.
- Add spices to pot.
- Add to cooked meat in this order, soup, tomatoes, beans & mushrooms.
- Stir Well.
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer.
- Set timer for 20 minutes.
- Eat with Rice, chips & cheese on top.

INGREDIENTS
- 3/4cupbreadcrumbs
- 3/4cupevaporated milk
- 2teaspoonsmustard
- 2eggs
- 1/2lbground sausage
- 2tablespoonsinstant minced onion
- 1teaspoonsage
- 2/3cupketchup
- 1/2teaspoonsalt
- 4tablespoonsbrown sugar
- 1/4teaspoonpepper
- 1lbground beef
DIRECTIONS
- Topping is ketchup, brown sugar and mustard.
- Mix crumbs, egg and milk & let stand.
- Blend in other ingredients & place in loaf pan.
- Bake at 350* for 30 minutes.
- Pour topping over loaf & bake 30 minutes longer.
