Tortellini With Pumpkin Sage Butter Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1/2lbsweet butter
  2. 8fresh sage leaves or1 teaspoonground sage
  3. 1/2cuppumpkin pie filling
  4. 1lbcheese tortellini
  5. 1/2cupparmigiano-reggiano cheese, grated
  6. 1/4teaspooncinnamon
  7. 1/4teaspoonnutmeg
  8. 1teaspoonlight brown sugar
  9. salt and pepper

DIRECTIONS

  1. Place butter and sage leaves (or ground sage) in a saute pan over medium high heat and cook until butter just turns golden brown.
  2. Add the pumpkin pie filling, cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar and remove from heat.
  3. Wisk gently until combined.
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Cook tortellini in boiling salted water according to package directions, drain, and toss into saute pan with warm sauce.
  6. Place pasta and sauce over medium heat and toss until well coated.
  7. Remove from heat, toss with Parmesan cheese and serve.

Rolls Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1 1/2cupsmilk
  2. 2 1/2ouncesyeast
  3. 1/2cupsugar
  4. 1cupwarm water
  5. 2teaspoonssalt
  6. 1/2cupoil
  7. 7 1/2cupsflour
  8. 2tablespoonsdark molasses
  9. 2cupsflour

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix together milk, sugar, salt, oil, molasses & 2 cups flour, let soak overnight in the refrigerator.
  2. In the morning, dissolve yeast in warm water.
  3. Remove milk & flour mixture from refrigerator, stir in dissolved yeast, mix in 7 1/2 cups flour, knead.
  4. Let rise until about one hour.
  5. Punch down & let rise one more hour.
  6. Roll out dough and cut with circle cookie cutter.
  7. Place on greased sheet.
  8. Let rise one hour.
  9. Bake at 350* for 10 minutes.

Dumb Bunny Cake Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1/2cupbutter, melted
  2. 1 (16 ounce)packagecake mix
  3. 1 (16 ounce)canfruit filling
  4. 1cupnuts

DIRECTIONS

  1. Choose a cake mix and fruit filling which are complimentary to each other.
  2. In an oblong pan pour the fruit filling inches.
  3. Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the top and dot with nuts.
  4. Cover the layers with the melted butter.
  5. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.

Cinnamon Bun Scones Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 2cupsall-purpose flour(I use 1/2 whole wheat and 1/2 white)
  2. 1cuprolled oats(quick or old fashioned, uncooked)
  3. 1/4cupgranulated sugar, plus
  4. 2tablespoonsgranulated sugar
  5. 1tablespoonbaking powder
  6. 1/4teaspoonsalt
  7. 8tablespoonsunsalted butteror margarine, chilled and cut into pieces
  8. 3/4cupmilk
  9. 1egg, lightly beaten
  10. 1teaspoonvanilla extract
  11. 1/2cup toasted choppedpecans
  12. 2teaspoonsground cinnamon
  13. Glaze

  14. 3/4cupconfectioners’ sugar
  15. 3-4teaspoonsorange juiceor milk
  16. 1-2teaspoonorange zest, grated

DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat oven to 425°F.
  2. Spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray.
  3. In food processor, combine flour, oats, 1/4 cup granulated sugar, baking powder and salt; mix well.
  4. Cut butter into 5-6 pieces, add to food processor, and pulse until butter is size of small peas–do not over pulse.
  5. Transfer dry mixture to larger bowl.
  6. In small bowl, combine milk, egg and vanilla; blend well.
  7. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients all at once; stir with fork or rubber spatula until dry ingredients are moistened.
  8. In another small bowl, combine remaining 2 tablespoons granulated sugar with the pecans and cinnamon; mix well.
  9. Sprinkle evenly over dough in bowl; gently stir batter to swirl in cinnamon mixture (Do not blend completely.).
  10. Drop dough by 1/4 cupfuls 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.
  11. Bake 11-15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to wire rack; cool 5 minutes.***.
  12. Glaze:.
  13. In small bowl, combine confectioners’ sugar, grated orange zest and enough orange juice or milk for desired consistency; mix until smooth.
  14. Drizzle over top of warm scones.
  15. Serve warm.
  16. ***When I make these, I have 9 scones and it takes 18 minutes to bake them in my oven.

  3. 1cinnamon stick

  5. 2cups fresh squeezedorange juice
  6. 1cup fresh squeezedlemon juice
  7. 1tablespoonfresh lemon rind
  8. 2tablespoons freshorange rind
  9. 1teaspoonwhole cloves
  10. 1 (16 ounce)canfrozen orange juice concentrate
  11. 1tablespoonsugar

  1. Combine all ingredients and simmer for 3 hours on low in Crockpot.
