INGREDIENTS
- 3/4cupmargarine
- 1/2cupwhite sugar
- 1cupbrown sugar
- 1egg
- 2tablespoonsjuice
- 2/3cupflour
- 3/4teaspoonbaking soda
- 1teaspooncinnamon
- 3cupsoats

- 1 1/2-2cupsnuts(optional) or raisins(optional) or dried fruits(optional) or chocolate chips (optional)
DIRECTIONS
- Beat margarine with sugars until creamy.
- Add egg and juce.
- Combine flour, baking soda and cinnamon. Add to the creamed mixture.
- Stir in oats and other additions.
- Drop by tablespoonfuls on greased baking sheet.
- Bake at 350F for 15-18 minutes.
- Cool a little before removing.

INGREDIENTS
- 1tablespoon choppedfresh cilantro
- 1 1/2tablespoons finely choppedgarlic
- 1/3cup mincedgreen onions
- 1teaspoon mincedginger
- 3/4cupsoy sauce(regular or reduced sodium)
- 1/2cuphoney
- 3 cookeddungeness crabs, cleaned and cracked(4 3/4 to 5 1/2 lb. total)
- 1/4cuppeppercorns
- 3tablespoonspeanut oilor salad oil
DIRECTIONS
- In a large bowl, combine cilantro, garlic, onions, ginger, soy, and honey. Add crab pieces. Cover and chill 15 minutes to 1 hour, turning crab often.
- Coarsely grind pepper in a coffee grinder or crush with a rolling pin.
- Pour oil into a 14-inch wok or 6- to 8-quart pan over medium-high heat. Pour crab, marinade, and 1 1/2 tablespoons pepper into wok. Stir often until crab is steaming hot, about 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle remaining pepper over crab and mix well. Ladle crab and juices into bowls.

INGREDIENTS
- 1/3cupbutter
- 1/4cup choppedfresh chives
- 1teaspoon mincedgarlic
- 1 3/4cupsbuttermilk
- 3cupsbaking mix(such as Bisquick)
- 1 1/2cups gratedsharp white cheddar cheese
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350°.Lightly grease 16 muffin tins.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat; add chives and garlic and cook, 2 minutes; remove from heat.Let cool 2 minutes then whisk in buttermilk.
- In a medium bowl, combine baking mix and cheese; add buttermilk mixture, stirring until dry ingredients are moistened.
- Spoon batter into prepared pans.Bake 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.Cool in pans 5 minutes.

INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2cupswater
- 1/2cup uncookedwild rice
- 1lblump crabmeat, drained and shell pieces removed
- 3/4cupdry breadcrumbs
- 1/2cup finely choppedred bell peppers
- 1/4cup mincedshallots
- 1/4cuplight mayonnaise
- 2tablespoonsDijon mustard
- 1 1/2tablespoonsfresh lemon juice
- 1/2teaspoonsalt
- 1/2teaspoonground cumin
- 1/8teaspoonground red pepper
- 1/8teaspoonblack pepper
- 2largeegg whites, lightly beaten
- 4teaspoonsolive oil, divided
DIRECTIONS
- Bring water to a boil in a medium saucepan.
- Add wild rice; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 1 hour or until tender.
- Combine cooked wild rice, crab, and next 11 ingredients (crab through egg whites) in a large bowl.
- Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions, shaping each into a 1-inch-thick patty.
- Heat 2 teaspoons oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
- Add 4 patties; cook 4 minutes. Carefully turn patties over; cook 4 minutes or until golden.
- Repeat procedure with remaining oil and patties.

INGREDIENTS
- 8largepotatoes, boiled in jackets
- 1/2lbcooked bacon
- drippings
- 3tablespoonsflour
- 1/2cupvinegar
- 1 1/2cupswater
- 1 1/2teaspoonssalt
- 1tablespoonsugar
- 1tablespoondry mustard
- 3green onions, chopped
- 2stalks choppedcelery (optional)
DIRECTIONS
- Blend bacon drippings with flour with a fork or a whisk.
- In a separate bowl, combine vinegar, water, salt, sugar and mustard, mix very well.
- Add this to the drippings in your skillet and stir over medium heat until thick.
- Add the green onions and chopped bacon.
- Chop up the potatoes into the skillet.
- Heat and serve.
