INGREDIENTS
- 2cupsrice
- 1/2 (1 kg)bagfrozen peas(use approx. 1 pound)
- 1 1/2cupscelery
- 1/4cupred onions
-
Dressing
- 1/3cupsalad oil(I have used either Vegetable or Canola)
- 3tablespoonssoya sauce
- 1/2-2teaspooncurry powder
- 2teaspoonsvinegar
- 1/2teaspoonsalt
- 1/2teaspooncelery seeds
- 1/2teaspoonsugar
DIRECTIONS
- Cook the rice according to package directions and cool.
- Cook the peas and cool.
- Chop celery and onion.
- Mix the rice, peas, celery and onion.
- While the rice is cooking mix all the ingredients for the dressing.
- Mix the dressing into the rice mixture.
- Cool for several hours.

INGREDIENTS
- 1smallonion, chopped
- 6tablespoonsbutter
- 1cupbeef broth
- 1cupwater
- 1cupuncooked rice
- salt and pepper(to taste)
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a small skillet, melt butter over medium high heat.
- Add onions to skillet and saute until soft and yellow.
- Remove pan from heat.
- Grease a 2-quart casserole dish.
- Add all ingredients to casserole dish and mix well.
- Place covered casserole in the oven and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

INGREDIENTS
- 1 (16 ounce)canrefried beans
- 1/2cup chilisalsa(or more to taste)
- 1cupcheddar cheese, shredded
- 1tablespooncilantro, fresh and chopped
- sour cream, to taste
- tortilla chips
DIRECTIONS
- Combine all ingredients, ecpect the sour cream and chips. In a medium saucepan or chafing dish, heat until the cheese melts, stirring occasionally. Serve warm, topped with sour cream and accompanied by tortilla chips.

- 1lb van camp’spork & beans(can)
- 2tablespoonsbrown sugar
- 2tablespoonsketchup
- 1tablespoonmolasses
- 6slicesbacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1smallonion, chopped
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven 350 degrees.
- Mix all ingredients together in an 1-quart baking dish.
- Bake for 45 minutes.

- 2cups slicedfresh mushrooms
- 3leeks, cleaned and thinly sliced
- 2celery ribs, chopped
- 1carrot, grated
- 1/4cupoil
- 2garlic cloves, finly chopped
- 4 (14 1/2 ounce)canschicken broth
- salt and pepper
DIRECTIONS
- in large pot saute first 4 ingredients in oil til they start to sweat.
- add garlic and broth.
- simmer 20 min.
