Lobster Delight Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1mediumlobster
  2. 2teaspoonsred chili powder
  3. 1teaspoonturmeric powder
  4. 2teaspoonsginger-garlic paste
  5. 1/2teaspoonblack pepper
  6. 2teaspoonslime juice
  7. 20curry leaves, washed and torn
  8. salt
  9. oil, as required

DIRECTIONS

  1. Fill half a large pot with water and bring to a boil.
  2. Add some salt to it and the lobster making sure the fish is completely submerged.
  3. Cook the fish for 5 minutes for the first kg and 2 extra minutes for every additional kg.
  4. If the antenna pulls out easily, the fish is cooked.
  5. A properly cooked lobster meat is creamy white and the shells are bright red.
  6. Allow the fish to cool.
  7. Remove lobster meat from the shell.
  8. Cut the tail in half lengthwise.
  9. Keep shell intact and carefully remove the meat from it.
  10. Mix the masala powders, salt, ginger-garlic paste and lime juice in a bowl.
  11. Add pepper powder and mix.
  12. Add the lobster pieces to it and mix.
  13. Marinate for 30 minutes.
  14. Heat oil in a pan.
  15. Add curry leaves and marinated lobster pieces.
  16. Shallow fry on both sides till cooked.
  17. Dip the tail into the marinade and fry till it is lightly browned.
  18. Let the fried tail dry on paper towels.
  19. Now stuff the fried meat into the shell and garnish with fresh veggies.
  20. Serve hot with rotis.

Curry Mushroom Frittata Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 3eggs
  2. 3-4tablespoonsmilk
  3. 4tablespoonsolive oil
  4. 2teaspoonsbutteror margarine
  5. sea salt
  6. fresh ground pepper
  7. 1-2teaspooncurry
  8. 1tablespoondried parsley
  9. 1cupmushrooms(chopped)
  10. 1/3cupfresh cilantro(chopped)
  11. 1/2cuptomatoes(chopped)
  12. 1/2cupgreen onions(chopped)
  13. 1 freshserrano pepper(chopped)
  14. 8-10teaspoonscream cheese(dollops)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Put together eggs, milk and parsley (salt and pepper to taste) beat and set aside.
  2. Set oven to broil.
  3. Chop all vegetables keep separate.
  4. In pan heat butter at med heat; first add mushrooms and onion.Saute for about 3 minutes,then add tomato, cilantro and curry (salt and pepper to taste); set aside.
  5. In frying pan that can go in the oven (non stick)add olive oil heat at med temperature;beat eggs again add to pan cook and swirl eggs for about 5 minutes. When eggs are almost set, spread veggies on the eggs.
  6. Add cream cheese dollops.
  7. Put in oven (watch carefully) to cook the top of the egg the rest of the way. Cream cheese will not melt.
  8. Take out of oven cut in pie slices.

Ww Sticky Chicken (5 Points) Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 4boneless chicken breasts
  2. 1/2cupketchup
  3. 3tablespoonsbrown sugar
  4. 2tablespoonsvinegar
  5. 2tablespoonsworcestershire sauce
  6. 2teaspoonsdry mustard

DIRECTIONS

  1. Place chicken in baking dish.
  2. Mix other ingredients, spoon over chicken.
  3. Bake uncovered at 350F for 40 minutes or so.

Awesome Cheese Dip Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1 (5 ounce)jarKraft Old English cheese spread
  2. 1 (5 ounce)jar kraft rokableu cheese spread
  3. 2 (8 ounce)packagescream cheese
  4. 1tablespoononion flakes
  5. 1teaspoongarlic salt
  6. 1/2teaspoonseason salt

DIRECTIONS

  1. Place first three ingredients in a pan and heat on low stirring until they are well combined.
  2. Add seasonings and mix well.
  3. Place in covered bowl and refrigerate until cold.
  4. Serve on crackers or garlic toast rounds.Delicious!

Cherry Soup Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1/2cupgranulated sugar
  2. 2tablespoonscornstarch
  3. 1/4teaspoonsalt
  4. 1 1/4cupswater
  5. 1cuporange juice
  6. 1cinnamon stick, small
  7. 1 1/4lbssweet cherries, dark, pitted

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a large heavy saucepan, stir together all the ingredients EXCEPT the cherries.
  2. Over medium heat, stir until thickened & smooth.
  3. Stir in cherries & cook for 1 minute.
  4. Pour into serving bowl, then cover & chill.
  5. Discard cinnamon stick before serving.
