Ranch Style Baked Beans II Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1lbground beef
  2. 2 (1 lb)canspork and beans
  3. 1 (1 lb)cankidney beans, drained
  4. 1 (1 1/4 ounce)envelopeLipton Onion Soup Mix
  5. 1cupcatsup
  6. 1/2cupcold water
  7. 2tablespoonsprepared mustard
  8. 2teaspoonscider vinegar

DIRECTIONS

  1. Brown hamburger.
  2. In a casserole dish, combine hamburger with the rest of the ingredients.
  3. Bake at 400 deg. for 30-45 minute.

Poppy Seed Sugar Cookies (Food Processor) Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 2largeeggs
  2. 3/4cupsugar
  3. 1/2cupvegetable oil
  4. 2teaspoonsvanilla(or use almond extract)
  5. 1/4cuporange juice
  6. 2teaspoonsbaking powder
  7. 3cupsflour
  8. 1/3cuppoppy seeds
  9. sugar, for dipping

DIRECTIONS

  1. Set oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Fit processor with steel blade and process the eggs with sugar, oil, juice and vanilla until blended (about 3-5 seconds).
  3. Add in flour, baking powder and poppy seeds; process until just blended using on/off pulses (do not over mix!).
  4. Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces.
  5. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before rolling out.
  6. Roll each piece on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle (about 1/8-inch thick).
  7. Using assorted cookie cutters, cut into different shapes.
  8. Carefully coat each cookie in sugar.
  9. Place sugar-side up on a greased cookie sheet.
  10. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. Cool slightly on baking sheet then transfer to a rack to cool.

Strawberry Cupcakes Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1/2cupsugar
  2. 1/4cupbutter
  3. 1egg
  4. 1/2cupyogurt
  5. 1teaspoonvanilla
  6. 1/2cupstrawberries, mashed
  7. 1 1/2cupscake flour
  8. 1 1/2teaspoonsbaking powder
  9. 1/4teaspoonbaking soda
  10. 1/4teaspoonsalt

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees; line 12-count muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. Beat sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
  3. Add egg, yogurt, and vanila, blending until smooth.
  4. Slowly add dry ingredients until just incorportated, then beat in strawberries.
  5. Drop batter into liners and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.
  6. I like these best with a chocolte frosting (like a chocolate-covered strawberry!) but they are (almost) as good unfrosted.

Brownie Pie Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1unbaked 9-inch pie shell
  2. 2ouncesunsweetened chocolate squares
  3. 2tablespoonsbutter
  4. 3largeeggs
  5. 1/2cupsugar
  6. 3/4cupdark corn syrup
  7. 3/4cuppecan halves

DIRECTIONS

  1. Make your pie shell or buy one.
  2. Melt the unsweetened chocolate and butter over hot water.
  3. Beat the eggs, sugar, and corn syrup with a rotary beater and add to the above chocolate mixture.
  4. Add the pecans to the mixture.
  5. Pour into an unbaked shell and bake at 375 degrees for 40-50 minutes.
  6. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

Fruity Carrots Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1 (11 ounce)canmandarin oranges, drained
  2. 1/2cuporange juice
  3. 1lbcarrots, sliced
  4. 1/4teaspooncurry powder
  5. 1cupseedless grapes, halved
  6. 1teaspoonlemon juice

DIRECTIONS

  1. Rinse the oranges in water.
  2. Pour orange juice into a medium large sauce pan, & turn heat on to medium.
  3. Add carrots & curry powder, stirring well.
  4. Cover & cook about 10 minutes or until carrots are tender & liquid is absorbed.
  5. Add grapes, oranges & lemon juice, mixing well.
  6. Cover & heat throughout. Serve hot.
