Deviled Sausages Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1/2cupwhite wine
  2. 1teaspoonsoy sauce
  3. 2tablespoonsmalt vinegar
  4. 1tablespoonworcestershire sauce
  5. 2tablespoonstomato paste
  6. 1tablespoonsugar
  7. 2tablespoonslow-fat yogurt
  8. 6sausages
  9. 1onion, sliced

DIRECTIONS

  1. brown onion and sausages in pan.
  2. combine the rest of the ingredients.
  3. add to pan and bring to the boil.
  4. simmer for 10 minutes.

Blackberry Crumb Cake Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. Batter

  2. 2cupsoats
  3. 1/2cupflour
  4. 1/2cupbrown sugar
  5. 2teaspoonsbaking powder
  6. 1/2teaspoonsalt
  7. 2 1/2tablespoons chilledbutter, cut into small pieces
  8. 1cuplow-fat milk
  9. 1/2cupegg substitute(or 2 eggs)
  10. 2teaspoonsvanilla
  11. 1 (10 ounce)packagefrozen blackberries, unthawed
  12. Topping

  13. 1/2cupoats
  14. 1/4cupbrown sugar
  15. 1tablespoonbutter, softened
  16. 1/4 choppedpecan, toasted

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350*.
  2. To prepare batter, process oats in a food processor until finely ground(about 1 min). Lightly spoon flour into a dry measuring cup; level with a knife. (too much flour will make this cake dry)
  3. Add flour, sugar, baking powder and salt to food processor; blend well. Add butter; pulse 5 times or until combined. Spoonmixture into a large bowl.
  4. Combine milk, eggs, and vanilla in a small bowl, stirring just until blended. Add to oat mixture, stirring to combine. Gently stir in blackberries.
  5. Pour mixture into a 9-inch pie plate coated with cooking spray. (batter will be thin) Sprinkle topping evenly over batter. Bake for 45 mins or until lightly browned.
  6. Cool completely on a wire rack. Slice and serve!
  7. Topping:.
  8. Combine all topping ingredients in a food processor; process until finely chopped.

Rogene’s Spinach Salad Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1 (10 ounce)bagfresh spinach
  2. 1/2lbfresh mushrooms, sliced
  3. 8slicesbacon, fried and crumbled
  4. 4eggs, hard boiled
  5. Dressing

  6. 1/3cupketchup
  7. 1/2cupsugar
  8. 1/4cupred wine vinegar
  9. 1/3cupoil
  10. 4green onions, chopped, include tops
  11. 1teaspoonworcestershire sauce

DIRECTIONS

  1. Wash spinach several times to wash off all dirt and sand.
  2. Tear off stems and tear spinach into bite size pieces.
  3. Dry spinach with towel and place in bowl.
  4. Add mushrooms and eggs - sliced.
  5. Top with bacon pieces.
  6. For dressing: Combine all dressing ingredients. Place in a glass jar and refrigerate.
  7. Shake well before using.

Mexican Pork Corn and Kidney Bean Chili Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 2teaspoonsolive oil
  2. 1/2lbpork tenderloins(cut in 1/2 cubes)
  3. 1stalkcelery(Chopped)
  4. 1smallgreen pepper(Chopped)
  5. 1smallyellow onion(Chopped)
  6. 1 (16 ounce)canred kidney beans(Drained)
  7. 1 (14 1/2 ounce)candiced tomatoes
  8. 1 (15 1/4 ounce)cancorn(Drained)
  9. 1 1/2tablespoonschili powder
  10. 2teaspoonscumin
  11. salt and pepper(to your taste)

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a large nonstick skillet, heat oil.
  2. Add the pork,celery,green pepper.
  3. Cook 5 minutes. Toss to brown on all sides.
  4. Add beans, tomatoes, corn, chili powder and cumin.
  5. Lower heat to medium and simmer for 15 minutes.
  6. Season with Salt and Pepper to taste.

Easy "fresh" Salsa Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 2 (14 ounce)canscanned Mexican style stewed tomatoes, mostly drained
  2. 1/4cupfresh cilantro(or more)
  3. 1/4 of anonion
  4. 5slices nacho-stylejalapenos
  5. 5dashescumin powder
  6. 5dasheschili powder
  7. salt, to taste

DIRECTIONS

  1. Put all ingredients in a blender and chop until fairly smooth.
  2. Store in a jar in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
