INGREDIENTS
- 1largegranny smith apples, peeled, thinly sliced
- 1tablespoonsugar
- 1teaspoonground cinnamon
- 2tablespoonsbutteror margarine
- 1cupflour
- 1/2teaspoonsalt
- 1/2teaspoonbaking soda
- 1egg
- 1cup breakstone’s or knudsensour cream, divided
- 1/2cupmilk
DIRECTIONS
- Toss apples with sugar and cinnamon; set aside.
- Melt butter in large nonstick skillet on medium-low heat.
- Add apple mixture; cook 4 minute or until apples begin to soften and are evenly coated with sugar glaze, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat; set aside.
- Mix flour, salt and baking soda in large bowl; set aside.
- Beat egg, 1/2 cup of the sour cream and the milk with wire whisk until well blended.
- Add to flour mixture; stir just until moistened.
- Gently stir in apples.
- Heat nonstick griddle or large nonstick skillet on medium heat.
- Drop batter by tablespoonfuls onto hot griddle.
- Cook until bubbles form on tops, then turnover to brown other side.
- Serve warm, topping each with a scant teaspoonful of the remaining 1/2 cup sour cream just before serving.

INGREDIENTS
- 4boneless pork chops
- 1/3cupbrown rice, uncooked
- 2/3cupconverted white rice, uncooked
- 1/2cuponions, chopped
- 1/4cupbutter
- 4ouncesfresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2cupwater
- 1/2teaspoonpepper
- 10ouncesbeef broth
- 1tablespoonworcestershire sauce
- 1 1/4ouncesonion soup mix
- 6ounceswater chestnuts, canned(sliced)
- 8ouncescanned peas, drained
DIRECTIONS
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown pork chops on both sides.
- Lightly spray the slow cooker with cooking spray.
- Place brown and white rice, onion, butter, peas, water chestnuts, and mushrooms in the slow cooker.
- Pour in water, broth, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Stir in onion soup mix, season with pepper, and top with pork chops.
- Cover, and cook on high setting for 4-5 hours.

INGREDIENTS
- 20pieceschicken wings
- 1/4cupbutter
- 2tablespoons choppedgarlic
- 2 1/2tablespoonsoyster sauce
- salt
DIRECTIONS
- Deep fry the chicken wings; set aside.
- Melt butter in a pan.
- Add garlic until brown.
- Add oyster sauce.
- Cook for 1 minute.
- Drizzle the wings with sauce before serving.

INGREDIENTS
- 2headslettuce, chopped(or 2 1-lb bags pre-cut lettuce)
- 1headcauliflower, cut up in tiny pieces
- 1lbbacon, fried and crumbled
- 1cupHellmann’s mayonnaise(no substitutions)
- 2 1/2tablespoonswhite vinegar
- 1/4cupsugar
- 1-1 1/2cupparmesan cheese
DIRECTIONS
- Combine lettuce, cauliflower and bacon.
- Mix mayonnaise, vinegar and sugar.
- Add dressing to salad, add parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.
- I usually make up the dressing the day before and the rest of the salad and then mix together just before serving.

INGREDIENTS
- 1tablespoonchopped pimiento
- 1tablespoon choppedgreen peppers
- 2tablespoonsmayonnaise
- 1tablespoonprepared mustard(such as French’s)
- 1/2teaspoonworcestershire sauce
- 1teaspoonOld Bay Seasoning
- 1egg
- 6saltine crackers, slighly crushed
- 1lbbackfin crab meat
DIRECTIONS
- Mix all ingredients except the crab meat.
- Add the crab meat and mix lightly.
- Place in a 2 quart baking dish or spoon into individual decorative baking shells.
- Bake at 425 until golden brown about 15 minutes.
