INGREDIENTS
- 1lbboneless beef top sirloin steaks, 1 inch thick
- 1garlic clove, crushed
- 2tablespoonsolive oil, divided
- 2mediumonions, cut into 1/4 inch slices
- 1teaspoondried basil leaves
- 1/8teaspoonground red pepper
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce)cantomatoes, undrained
- 1cupbeef broth
- 2mediumzucchini, cut into 1/4 inch slices
- parmesan cheese, grated (optional)
DIRECTIONS
- Cut beef steak into 1/4 inch thick strips; cut each strip into 1 inch pieces.
- Combine garlic with one tablespoon oil; stir into beef and reserve.
- Saute onion in remaining oil in large saucepan 3 minutes.
- Sprinkle with basil and pepper; cook and stir 1 minute.
- Add tomatoes, beef broth and zucchini.
- Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile heat large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook and stir beef 1 to 2 minutes; add to sauce.
- Stir 2 teaspoons cornstarch dissolved in 2 tablesppons water into stew and cook until slightly thickened, about 2 minutes.
- Sprinkle with grated cheese if desired.
- Serve immediately.

INGREDIENTS
- 16ouncessalmon, drained and flaked
- 1/2cupmayonnaise
- 1cupdry breadcrumbs
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce)cancream of celery soup
- 1egg
- 1/2cup mincedonions
- 1tablespoonlemon juice
- pepper

MEDIUM WHITE SAUCE
- 2tablespoonsmargarine
- 2tablespoonsflour
- 1cupmilk
- salt and pepper, to taste
DIRECTIONS
- Mix all loaf ingredients together.
- Shape into loaf.
- Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
- Top with white sauce.
- SAUCE:.
- Melt margarine in heavy saucepan.
- Add flour
- Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Gradually add milk and cook over medium heat until thick and bubbly.
- Add salt and pepper.

INGREDIENTS

CAKE
- 1/2cupbutter
- 1/2cupshortening
- 1cup strongbrewed coffee
- 1/4cupdark unsweetened cocoa
- 1/2cupbuttermilk
- 2eggs
- 1teaspoonbaking soda
- 1teaspoonvanilla
- 2cupsflour
- 2cupssugar

FROSTING
- 1/2cupbutter
- 2 1/4tablespoonsdark cocoa
- 1/4cupmilk
- 3 1/2cupsconfectioners’ sugar
- 1teaspoonvanilla
DIRECTIONS
- In a large bowl combine flour and sugar.
- In a large saucepan combine butter, shortening, cocoa, and coffee.
- Mix well and heat to boiling.
- Pour into the flour and sugar; mix well.
- Add the buttermilk, baking soda, eggs, and vanilla.
- Mix well.
- Pour into a well-greased 11×17 1/2 cookie sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or till done.
- While brownies bake make the frosting.
- In a large saucepan combine the butter, cocoa, and milk; heat to boiling and mix well.
- Mix in the confectioners sugar and vanilla and mix till smooth.
- Pour warm frosting over the brownies as soon as you take them out of the oven.
- Cool; cut into 48 bars.

INGREDIENTS
- 2 1/4cupsall-purpose flour
- 1teaspoonbaking soda
- 1teaspoonsalt
- 1cupbutter, softened
- 3/4cupgranulated sugar
- 3/4cup packedbrown sugar
- 1teaspoonvanilla extract
- 2largeeggs
- 1 3/4cupsmilk chocolate chips
- 1cup choppednuts (optional)
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 375°.
- Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl.
- Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Gradually beat in flour mixture.
- Stir in morsels and nuts.
- Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

INGREDIENTS
- 1lb refrigeratedbiscuit dough
- 1 (10 ounce)cancream of chicken soup, condensed
- 1cupcooked chicken, cubed
- 1lbfrozen mixed vegetables, thawed
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Roll out dough and divide in half.
- Press half the dough into a buttered 9″pie plate.
- Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl and pour into crust.
- Cover with remaining dough, crimping edges under to seal.
- Cut several slits in top of pie.
- Bake about 30 minutes or until top is well browned.
