INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2lbslean ground beef
- 1red onion, chopped
- 1bell pepper, chopped
- 2garlic cloves, minced
- 1tablespoonvegetable oil
- 12ounceschili sauce
- 3tablespoonssteak sauce, tabasco carribean
- 1tablespoonred wine vinegar
- 2 (8 ounce)packagesrefrigerated crescent dinner rolls
DIRECTIONS
- Cook beef, onions, peppers, garlic and spices in oil until meat is browned.
- Add chili sauce, tabasco sauce, and red wine vinegar.
- Simmer 15-20 minutes.
- Line a greased 9×13 pan with 1 pkg crescent rolls.
- Spread beef mixture over this layer.
- Place 2nd layer of crescent rolls over cheese making sure dough touches edge of pan & press seams of dough together.
- Bake at 375F until crescent rolls are browned (about 15 minutes).

INGREDIENTS
- 2 1/4cupsall-purpose flour
- 1teaspoonsalt
- 1teaspoonbaking soda
- 1cupmilk chocolate chips
- 1cupwhite chocolate chips
- 1cuppeanut butter chips
- 3/4cupsugar
- 3/4cupbrown sugar
- 1cup crushedpeppermint candies
- 1cup softenedmargarine
- 1teaspoonvanilla extract
- 2tablespoonspeppermint extract (optional)
- 2eggs
DIRECTIONS
- In a medium size bowl combine flour, salt and baking soda, set aside.
- Then cream softened butter, sugar, brown sugar, crushed peppermint, and Vanilla extract in a large bowl –
- Beat eggs into large bowl until creamy.
- then gradually add dry ingredients until all ofthe ingredients are mixed together.
- Stir in Chocolate Chips, White Chocolate Chips, and Peanut Butter Chips into mixture well.
- drop into rounded teaspoons and bake into a 375º oven.

INGREDIENTS
- 3tablespoonsbutteror margarine
- 3/4cupbrown sugar, packed
- 1/3cup shelledpeanuts (optional)
- 3tablespoonsdark corn syrup
- 1/2teaspoonvanilla
- 1/4teaspoonbaking soda
- salt
- 5cupspopcorn, popped
DIRECTIONS
- Place butter or margarine in a 8 cup measure or large microwavable bowl.
- Microwave at high for 30-45 seconds, or until melted.
- Stir in brown sugar, peanuts(optional) and corn syrup.
- Insert candy thermometer.
- Microwave at high for 3-4 minutes, or until mixture reaches 280 degrees (soft crack stage).(Note- this is where the mixture can overcook - so watch carefully).
- Mix in vanilla, baking soda and salt.
- Place prepared popcorn in large bowl.
- Pour hot mixture quickly over popcorn, stirring to coat.
- Microwave at high for 2 minutes, stirring after half the time.
- Stir again.Cool for about 30 minutes. Stirring occasionally to break apart.
- I find it helpful, to spread caramel corn on a cookie sheet to cool.It cools much faster and is easier to break apart.

INGREDIENTS
- 1lbchickens, cut into thin slices
- 1tablespoongarlic, thinly sliced
- 1tablespoonThai red chili peppers, thinly sliced
- 1tablespoonfish sauce
- 1tablespoonsweet soy sauce
- 2tablespoonsoyster sauce
- 1tablespoonhoney
- 1tablespoonchili paste
- 1teaspoonblack pepper
- 3tablespoonschicken stock
- 2tablespoonsrice wine
- 1/2cupcashew nuts
DIRECTIONS
- Roast the cashews at 300 degrees until golden brown.
- In a wok, over medium heat, saute the garlic and chilies until the garlic is golden and the whole is aromatic, then remove and reserve the chilies and garlic.
- Add the chickenand all the ingredients except the cashews, stock and wine to the pan and stir fry until the chickenjust begins to cook.
- Add the stock and continue over low heat until the chickenis cooked, then using a slotted spoon remove the chickenfrom the sauce and set aside.
- Add the rice wine and reduce the sauce until a slight glaze appears (if necessary add 1 teaspoon of arrowroot powder, dissolved in a little tepid water).
- Return the chicken, chilies and garlic to the sauce, and add the cashews. Make sure they are heated through.
- Garnish with green onions. If you enjoy vegetables with this, just add onions and carrots with step #3. Also if you want more heat, just add more black pepper.
- Serve with steamed white rice.

INGREDIENTS
- 1/2cupolive oil
- 1 1/2tablespoonsred wine vinegar
- 1 1/2tablespoonsbalsamic vinegar
- 1garlic clove, minced
- 1tablespoonmayonnaise
- 2headsbibb lettuce, rinsed, dried and torn
- 1/3cupsesame seeds
- 2avocados, peeled, pitted and sliced
DIRECTIONS
- Whisk together the olive oil, red wine vinegar, balsamic vinegar, garlic and mayonnaise.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- In a salad bowl, combine the lettuce and sesame seeds.
- Toss with enough dressing to coat.
- Top with sliced avocado and serve on chilled plates.
