Hawaiian Honey Burgers Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1/2cuphoney
  2. 1/4teaspoonground cinnamon
  3. 1/4teaspoonpaprika
  4. 1/4teaspooncurry powder
  5. 1/8teaspoonground ginger
  6. 1/8teaspoonground nutmeg
  7. 2lbsground beefor ground turkey
  8. 1/4cupsoy sauce
  9. 1 (23 ounce)can slicedpineapple rings, drained
  10. 8hamburger buns, toasted
  11. lettuce leaves (optional)

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a bowl, combine the first six ingredients; add beef and mix well.
  2. Shape into eight 3/4-in. thick patties.
  3. Grill the burgers, uncovered over medium-hot heat for 3 minutes on each side.
  4. Brush with soy sauce.
  5. Continue grilling for 4-6 minutes or until juices run clear, basting and turning several times.
  6. During the last 4 minutes, grill the pineapple slices until browned, turning once.
  7. Serve burgers and pineapple on buns with lettuce if desired.

Swamp Water Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 2cups coldmilk
  2. 1 (85 g)packageblackberry Jell-O
  3. 2 1/2cupsvanilla ice creamor frozen yogurt

DIRECTIONS

  1. Pour milk in blender.
  2. Add jelly powder and ice cream; put lid on blender.
  3. Blend at high speed 30 seconds or until smooth.
  4. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
  5. For a “frosty” look, freeze glasses for 1/2 hour before serving.

Marinated Chickpea Salad Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1 (15 ounce)cangarbanzo beans(chickpea)
  2. 1cupcherry tomatoes, halved
  3. 1/2cupgreen onions, chopped
  4. 2tablespoonsrice wine vinegar
  5. 1tablespoonfresh lemon juice
  6. 1tablespoonolive oil
  7. 1packetSplenda sugar substitute
  8. 1/2teaspoonsalt
  9. 1/2teaspoondried dill weed
  10. 1/2teaspoondried thyme
  11. 1/4teaspoonpepper
  12. 2teaspoonsgarlic, minced

DIRECTIONS

  1. Drain and rinse the chickpeas (you may use other beans-black, black-eyed peas, cannellini, etc.) Put the chickpeas, onions and tomato halves in a bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl mix the remaining ingredients and blend well.
  3. Pour the dressing over the bean mixture and toss gently.
  4. Cover and marinate overnight.
  5. The chickpeas will absorb the flavor nicely.
  6. Serve as a side dish, or cut up some leftover chicken breasts and place the bean salad on a bed of salad greens and place the chicken on top.

The Absolute Best Moist Dark Chocolate Bundt Cake! Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 2/3cupcocoa
  2. 2 1/4cupsflour
  3. 2cupssugar
  4. 1 1/2teaspoonsbaking powder
  5. 1 1/2teaspoonsbaking soda
  6. 3/4teaspoonsalt
  7. 1 1/2teaspoonsinstant coffee granules
  8. 1 1/2cupsunsweetened orange juice
  9. 3eggs
  10. 1 1/4cupscanola oilor vegetable oil
  11. STREUSAL FILLING

  12. 1cup choppedwalnuts
  13. 1/2cupcoconut (optional)
  14. 1/3cupbrown sugar
  15. 2teaspoonscinnamon
  16. 2tablespoonscocoa powder
  17. 1/2cupchocolate chips

DIRECTIONS

  1. Set oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Set rack to second-lowest postion.
  3. WELL GREASE and flour a Bundt pan (use my recipe#78579 if desired to grease the pan).
  4. If using the streusel, mix all streusel ingredients; set aside.
  5. In an extra large mixing bowl, dump ALL cake ingredients; mix well until combined on medium speed of an electric mixer for about 3 minutes.
  6. If layering with streusel, pour half of the cake batter into prepared Bundt pan.
  7. Sprinkle the streusel mix evenly over batter.
  8. Top with remaining cake batter.
  9. Bake for 60-70 minutes (may take a little longer to bake if making the cake with the streusel filling).
  10. Cool in pan for about 15-20 minutes before removing.
  11. Frost or glaze if desired when completely cooled.
  12. Delicious and moist!

Chocolate-Orange Truffle Cake Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1package betty crocker supermoist chocolatefudge cake mix
  2. 1 1/3cupswater
  3. 1/2cupvegetable oil
  4. 3eggs
  5. 2teaspoons pureorange extract
  6. 1container betty crocker rich and creamy ready to spreadchocolate frosting
  7. Optional glaze

  8. 1/3cupheavy whipping cream
  9. 1/2cupsemi-sweet chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Mix cake mix, water, oil, eggs, and orange extract until well blended.
  3. Pour into greased and floured tube pan or bundt pan.
  4. Bake for 40 minutes or until done.
  5. Cool for 10 minutes on wire rack.
  6. Turn cake onto platter and allow to cool completely.
  7. When cool, frost with ready to spread frosting.
  8. Optional glaze.
  9. Heat whipping cream in 1 qt.
  10. saucepan over medium heat until hot (do not boil).
  11. Remove from heat.
  12. Stir in chocolate chips and stir until melted and smooth.
  13. Drizzle over top of cake slowly, allowing to drizzle down the edges.
  14. If the optional glaze is used, refrigerate for 1 hour before serving, to allow the chocolate to harden.
  15. Keep refrigerated.
