Fresh Lemonade Syrup Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 3cupslemon juice(juice from about 5 pounds lemons)
  2. 1cupboiling water
  3. 3cupsSplenda granular(not packets)or sugar
  4. 2tablespoons gratedlemons, rind of

DIRECTIONS

  1. In 2 quart bowl, add 1 cup water and microwave for 1 minute.
  2. Add Splenda for Baking and stir to dissolve.
  3. Add lemon juice and grated peel.
  4. Stir.
  5. TO PREPARE LEMONADE: For 1 serving, mix 1/4 cup syrup and 3/4 cups water in glass.
  6. Add ice.
  7. For 1/2 gallon, add 2-2/3 cups syrup and 5 cups water.
  8. Stir.

Joe’s Grilled Dove Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 2-3dove breasts
  2. 1 (8 ounce)bottleItalian dressing
  3. 1-1 1/2jalapeno pepper, 1/2 per dove
  4. 2-3slicesbacon, 1 slice per dove
  5. salt and pepper

DIRECTIONS

  1. Salt and pepper each bird and fill cavity witih 1/2 a jalapeno.
  2. Wrap with strip of bacon and use a toothppick to secure.
  3. Place on charcoal grill and baste with Italian dressing.
  4. Grill slowly and continue basting with dressing until birds are done.

Dove Kabobs Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 3dove breasts
  2. 3mediumonions
  3. 1largebell pepper
  4. teriyaki sauce
  5. cherry tomatoes
  6. mushrooms

DIRECTIONS

  1. Marinate breasts in teriyaki sauce for 1 hour.
  2. Save the sauce.
  3. Quarter onions.
  4. Cut bell pepper into 2-inch chunks.
  5. Skewer all ingredients on wooden skewers, alternating them.
  6. Barbeque until dove is tender, basting with sauce.
