Believe It Or Not Moustache Wax! Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 2teaspoons gratedbeeswax
  2. 1teaspooncastor oil

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix both together in a heat-resistant container.
  2. Heat the mixture gently in the microwave on HIGH, or on the stove top in a water bath, until the beeswax is melted, stirring continuously.
  3. Pour into a clean container.
  4. Allow to cool until solid.
  5. To use: Rub your finger over the cool wax and apply sparingly to your moustache or eyebrows.

Low-Fat Ham & Rice Casserole Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 2tablespoonsmargarine
  2. 1/2cup choppedonions
  3. 10 3/4ouncescream of mushroom soup
  4. 10 3/4ouncescream of celery soup
  5. 1 3/4cupsskim milk
  6. 1cuplow-fat cheddar cheese
  7. 20ouncesfrozen broccoli, cooked
  8. 2cupsinstant rice
  9. 3cupscooked ham, cubed

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a small skillet melt the margarine and saute the onion until tender.
  3. Combine the soups, milk and cheese.
  4. Add the broccoli, rice, ham and onion.
  5. Bake in a 9 x 13-inch covered casserole dish for 45 to 50 minutes.

Low-Fat Zucchini & Rice Casserole Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1cupfat-free ricotta cheese
  2. 2/3cup gratedparmesan cheese
  3. 1/2cupfat-free mayonnaise
  4. 1wholeegg, plus
  5. 1egg white
  6. 1/2teaspoonsalt
  7. 1/8teaspoonfresh ground black pepper
  8. 3cups cookedlong-grain white rice
  9. 3cups shreddedzucchini or2 mediumsquash
  10. 1/2cup choppedscallions, about 4,green and white parts
  11. 2tablespoonsdry breadcrumbs

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Spray a 2-quart casserole with cooking spray.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the ricotta, one-half cup of the parmesan cheese, the mayonnaise, whole egg and egg white, salt and pepper.
  4. Add the rice, zucchini, and scallions and stir into the cheese until evenly blended.
  5. Spread the mixture into the prepared casserole.
  6. Sprinkle the bread crumbs over the rice mixture, followed by the remaining parmesan.
  7. Bake the casserole, uncovered, 30 minutes, until it is hot and lightly browned on top.

Chocolate Sandwich Cookies Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. COOKIIE INGREDIENTS

  2. 1 1/2cups firmly packedbrown sugar
  3. 3/4cupbutter
  4. 2tablespoonswater
  5. 2cupssemi-sweet chocolate chips
  6. 2eggs
  7. 3cupsall-purpose flour
  8. 1 1/4teaspoonsbaking soda
  9. 1teaspoonsalt
  10. FILLING INGREDIENTS

  11. 3cupspowdered sugar
  12. 1/3cupbutter(Land O’Lakes recommended)
  13. 1teaspoonvanilla extractor mint extractor peppermint extract
  14. 2-4tablespoonsmilk

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Combine brown sugar, 3/4 cup butter, and water in a heavy 3-quart saucepan.
  3. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until butter is melted (3 to 4 minutes).
  4. Add chocolate chips; cook, stirring constantly, until chocolate is melted and smooth (1-2 minutes).
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Beat in eggs, one at a time, until mixture is smooth.
  7. Stir in all remaining cookie ingredients.
  8. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  9. Bake for 6-8 minutes or until set.
  10. Let stand 1 minute before removing from cookie sheets, and cool completely.
  11. Meanwhile, combine all filling ingredients EXCEPT milk in a large mixing bowl.
  12. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often.
  13. Gradually add enough milk to reach desired spreading consistency.
  14. Spread about 2 teaspoons of frosting onto flat side of one cookie; top with second cookie, flat side down.
  15. Gently squeeze together.
  16. Repeat with remaining cookies.
  17. Store well-wrapped, or in an airtight container.

Orange Bonbon Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1teaspoonchocolate syrup
  2. 1glassfresh orange juice
  3. 1tablespoonsugar
  4. 1pinchsalt
  5. 1cherry, to garnish

DIRECTIONS

  1. Blend everything together (except the cherry) and pour into a glass.
  2. Add a layer of crushed ice cubes.
  3. Top it with a cherry.
  4. Hmm, sip away, with a big smile!
